Really nice cables...
I am somewhat amazed at the quality of these cables especially for the price. Nice and rubbery flexible with metal connectors. If you have AKG headphones with the mini-XLR connector, give these a try. They cut down on the "microphonic" or "stethoscopic" noise of AKG provided cables. I won't say they eliminate that issue but they certainly help. For the price, they are worth a try. I bought two lengths because they are so inexpensive.EDIT... one of the two cables I bought ended up being sheathed in a cloth covering. Still feels like good quality but more noisy when rubbing against clothing than the rubbery one. I'm not sure what determines which you get, rubbery or cloth. The two I ordered were slightly different lengths so the length you order may determine the cable material used.

Good quality, no tangles or microphonics. Solid connectors.
I paired this with an AKG K371 which uses mini XLR. My oem cable got very tangled and twisted so I wanted a replacement.I saw a few reviews mention this more rubbery cable had less microphonics so I went with it. I can confirm it has no microphonics, does not tangle, and fits the mini XLR connector well. Highly recommended.

Great replacement for mile–long OEM Mini XLR cables!
So, I purchased a nice pair of AKG K275 monitors, and read they only come with a three metre coiled cable. While this might be a sensible selection of cable for someone getting these to work on a music/sound studio, the regular customer who just wants to listen to music with uncoloured, balance sound signature will find this a ridiculously long and tedious to deal with most of the time.So for the lack of options found, I went in for this cable right here. And it works fine! The clipping mechanism and the plug itself work very well, and give a secure link to the headphone's jack once it clicks. The thin sleeve on the TRRS end of the cable (towads the computer, or the cellphone as I tend to frequently use) is quite appreciated. The finish on the cable overall is quite good. There are no immediately noteceable imperfections or scratches, neither on the metal parts nor the rubber lining of the cable itself. It does tend to twist and curl a bit, especially if one always puts it away by coiling it. The rubber itself is quite soft and squishy, it behaves like a wet noodle, which I didn't think it would be actually convenient because the OEM cable that came with my headphones is made of a stiffer rubber and it does get in the way quite a lot.Overall a pretty reasonable quality/cost ratio so I'm happy I got it. Oh, and I can't tell the difference in sound definition when switching cables so definitely decent quality by any standard.

Superior Quality, Finish, Performance to Others
This particular NewFantasia k240 cable is much, much superior to at least the 4 other brands, and even another NF model, that I recently have tried !! The cable is small diameter for comfort and flexibility in use. The metal parts are precisely manufactured and fit flawlessly ... every time. Sound is solid and full range and clear; much better than competitors. The length of this cable may be slightly long for some users, but the cord wraps flawlessly and easily to take up slack, and comes in handy whenever extra movement is needed as well as prevent accidental damage if the user get up quicker than their mind remembers to take off the headphones. (I cannot currently judge durability with assurance, but believe it will be considerably better than the poorly made competitors I tried.)

Sleek Connectors and Rubbery Jacket; Better than Other Product by Same Company
I got this to replace the other NewFantasia cable that I bought and returned because of its weird, unexpected colors and noisy, loosely braided jacket. Do an Amazon search for B07Z8S7CKZ to see it.This one looks good, and, so far, works the way it should. If anything about that changes, I'll update.

So far, quite good...
I bought this because I was given a pair of AKG k240S headphones for Christmas. I love the sound of the AKGs, and my only complaint about them is that the supplied cord is really long. Great for home studio work, less so for casual or on-the-go listening. I purchased THIS cord so that I would have a simple, short, straight cord. For that purpose, it has been awesome. Also awesome is that, for my gear at least, the 1/8 inch plug on the end of the cord plugs in even when my iPhone, iPad or iPod is in a case.I think with cables of various kinds, the thing that tends to happen is that a certain percentage of them fail after a bit. I haven't had this cable very long, so I can't address that aspect of things. So far, it seems well made and is a good fit for my headphones. It fits snugly and attaches solidly.Sound is clear, with no crackles, hum or drop-outs.
