Q: Are they going to have this for sale with micarta scales soon

I bought the Micarta scales directly from ESEE.

Q: Just wondering which knife is nicer; this one or the Izula 2?

Both are good knives. The 3D handles on the Model 3 are more comfortable than the Izula II handles. My personal preference is for the S35VN steel in the Model 3, versus the 1095 on the Izula II. Your mileage may vary.
