I'm hypothyroid and have read that supplementing AAs can be very beneficial, even reduce the amount of replacement hormone required eventually. I've only been taking them for a week and have started with just one capsule because I often react badly to supplements. Thus far no problems atall, though given the huge size of these capsules I have to break them open and mix in a little distilled water...interesting taste to say the least. Main take so far is the large capsule size. Why on earth do they need to be so big, the powder inside only about half fills them so, come on, make them smaller please. !

I manage to swallow them but I wish they were a bit smaller.I haven’t taken them long enough to see if they’re any good.

They are good

These come in a double sealed bottle as average sized white capsules which I found tasteless and easy to take.The amino acids are supplied in roughly the proportions which are recommended in the diet. The problem is that although the quality of the protein is very high there is only 1.5g of it per dose. As a very rough calculation this is only about 1% of what a fairly average person would need if they were trying to grow muscle. Clearly this is a supplement and most of your protein should come from a balanced diet but this would make very little difference.A 120 bottle is a 60 day supply at the very low dosage of 2 capsules per day. At the time of review they had a very large discount making them under £10 which is still too expensive given the amount per dose.

I bought these to help with my liver function. Fingers crossed they will work.

I am a meat eater and a fish eater, but I am also somebody who has an autoimmune condition and continual gut issues. I therefore like to ensure that I have covered all of my bases and my body has the full 20 amino acids every single day absorbed into my system. This supplement is like an insurance document just backing up on my protein requirements for the day. I use these by staring them in to my first smoothie of the day which contains berries, collagen powder, bone, broth powder, and various other bits and pieces. It means that first thing in the morning my gut has a really healthy layer of nourishing food on it and eat it.
