Hatchimals are always fun. This is a cute toy where all the colors swirl in the water in the center. The swirls stay separated until they are mixed up manually after which they turn into a muddy mess. I wish these toys had more replay value because once you're done mixing them, which takes about five minutes, the large plastic piece is pretty much useless.

My kids enjoyed watching these hatch. The price was reasonable and the hatching was quite entertaining. My 72 year old mother thought it was pretty neat to watch too. We enjoyed watching the kids get excited over the colors mixing while they waited patiently. Cute toy. Recommended for 4-8 years old!

My daughter LOVED this toy! It is adorable and the colors when it hatched were SO COOL!I am a little bummed by how much plastic is used up on these- it seems really bad for the environment. She still played with the hatchery bit for a while after Christmas, but now she carries the little animals around in a purse and they are TINY with even TINIER accessories.

I was pretty impressed with this toy! When we added water, the colors began to swirl around and the little animals started to pop out! It was really cool to watch and my daughter loved it! The pretty rainbow effect only lasted for a matter of minutes, then it all mixed together into a muddy brown color, but by then the animals were all hatched out. The only downside to this toy is the fact that the pretty swirl effect can only be done once and it only lasted a few moments. There’s no way to reload the colors to do it again. My daughter loved to watch it though and I was impressed that it worked the way it was advertised.

We recently bought this Hatchimal product for our kids, and it was such a hit! The process of cracking the eggs was super easy, and they worked perfectly as described. The way the colors drained and swirled during the process was mesmerizing — the kids couldn’t stop watching!It is a little messy, so I’d recommend setting up on a table with some paper towels or a tray underneath to catch any drips. But honestly, the fun and excitement were well worth the clean-up. The surprise inside was a big hit, too.Overall, this was a fantastic activity that kept the kids entertained and excited. Perfect for a rainy afternoon or as a fun gift idea!
