Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra

Had an older USG that has run for years. Migrated to the newer one for as the older one no longer worked for VPN purposes.Having the cloud controller built in is fantastic. I had the controller running on a pi for years, but had issues with the SD cards failing for years after constant log writes. Super convenient to have it built in.Also, the older model running with IPS would kill internet speed, this one seems to have little to know bottleneck. Very happy.

Bought this to replace the second UDMP that has died on me in the last 3 years. It's a great little device, that is true swiss army knife, being a router, firewall. Unifi controller and a VPN endpoint. For my on standard FPTC 70/20 it is easily as quick if not quicker than my UDMP. If you dont need Ubnt CCTV / Voip Access and your broadband is 1Gb or under, this device is perfect. Yes Amazon charge £30 more than buying off the Ubnt website, but it was here next day and much easier to return if it goes wrong.100% buy again

My old Gen1 unify controller failed and left me with a working but unmanageable network. Also my old gateway was limiting throughout to 85mb/sec due to switching on deep packet inspection etc. I decided to try to solve y problem with this new gateway which also seems fantastic value for money. I was amazed that having located a local copy of my config backup in less than 1 hours after receiving the package my network was back up and running with the same config but note throughout was back the ISP maximum of 300/300mbs. I could not be more pleased. Also it introduced miles better network management features and automatic VPN config through the wiman app. 5 stars Ubiquiti! Yes itcame with Euro plug but it is simply a USB-C 5v requirement and i plugged it straight on that USB port on my small UPS by the Gateway modem.

Excellent piece of kit. Had ubiquiti kit for many years and when my previous router died, no hesitation in replacing with this.Why only 4 stars? It's supplied with an EU plug, even though it's for UK use. Which means extra expense in buying a charger and cable, but just as importantly I now have an EU charger and cable which will get thrown away.Why not follow the lead of the sensible and responsible manufacturers and provide the router with no included charger (and knock £5/£10 of the price) and give people the choice of using existing or buying the 'correct' one.

Does not come with UK power supply.

Bought this to replace an out of support UI Edge Router-X. Easy to set-up and configure, no command line stuff required either for some parts of the configuration, the user interface is also much better. I've dropped it one star as Amazon are supplying UK customers with EU power adaptors, this should not be happening, take note Amazon. I was tempted to return it but as I had a spare UK/USB-C plug/cable I've used that.

Product is great as you would expect from Ubiquiti - but it came with an EU plug rather than a UK plug, which should have been made clear in the description.
