We’re open to the elements where we live and the obelisks in the garden move in strong winds, as they are fully loaded with climbing plants. They don’t now! Anchored down using these, they aren’t going anywhere. Perfect results.

These are excellent for securing into tough, stony ground—I’ve used them in Spain and found they hold firm. That said, I’d steer clear of using a drill in these conditions; the torque can snatch back and make the job awkward or even unsafe. Instead, fixing them manually with a hand tool works much better and gives you more control. On a softer grass pitch, however, I can see a drill working perfectly and saving a lot of time. A solid, versatile bit of kit, but pick your method depending on the terrain!

If you have a marquee or tent etc. its a must buy. Very handy and they are quite strong and heavy duty - put it this way its very strong that my 3m x 6m proper marquee was held by these heavy duty ground hooks over night come rain wind over night. It comes with all the bits to use for drill purpose and also comes with a part that you can use when you don't have access to electrical tools.
