Effective - Excellent customer service
I am a woman and measured JUST into the L/XL size. It was too big on the shoulder - the straps were fine but there was too much bulk/material on the top of the shoulder. GREAT customer service. There was a card inside to contact them if there were issues. They are sending me a small/medium and no need to return the large.I have 2 torn rotator cuffs. I have been getting steroid injections but it’s been a few months and I’ve had a flare up this past week. I sleep on my sides and I’ve woken up every morning in excruciating pain. I’ve been icing, using lidocaine patches, taking Advil etc. I wore these last night (even though too big) and I slept through the night! No excruciating pain in the morning! So, yes, I highly recommend for torn rotator cuffs.

sturdy and comfortable
I'm giving this brace a 5 star, for quality and fit. It's easy to adjust and fits me well, in size small. I'm a female 5'3" and in the low 140s for size comparison. I bought this brace because I have a dislocated clavicle, so though it does help hold my shoulder in place and reminds me not to move it while it's healing, I think I would have been better to get a figure eight-type brace for a clavicle injury. No fault of this brace however, and if your injury is fully shoulder alone I think this brace would be great. It's very comfortable, and soft and not itchy at all, however it does get pretty hot because it is thick. It has a space on the shoulder to put an ice pack or heat pack. It seems well made and that it will last.

Great support - wear with sleeves
I am seven weeks post rotator cuff surgery and now at that stage where I can be out of the sling, but am finding that my shoulder still needs a bit of support. I decided to try this shoulder brace and it's been great! It has provided good stability to my shoulder. I'm able to wear it for a long period of time while I type and work at my desk. I have even worn it while sleeping and my arm wakes up less sore than without it. So overall is been a great addition to my healing journey.I knocked it down one star (it would have been half a star if that was an option) because it irritates my skin. I wish the inside cloth was soft, but the material used is a bit abrasive. This is a problem for me because I tend to mostly wear tank tops and sleeveless shirts . If you're not like me in that regard, it shouldn't be a problem at all. To remedy this, I use a soft piece of material in between so that it doesn't irritate my skin. It does the trick!

One design flaw that needs improved to make it great!
It’s a good brace! Good materials. Good support and easy to put on! However, the buckle on the arm portion rests in the underarm and rubs on it making it very uncomfortable for working out in.

Relief!
It works! This shoulder brace relieves the pain. I've had rotator cuff surgery on both sides so real world experience. The key is the proper fit, which in my case took multiple bearings to dial it in perfectly. This is where communication with the company excelled. They will help you get their product to help you. The best customer service ever. Really great overall experience!

Not for people worth boobs.
First the likes... I could see this working. I did feel a little more support through my shoulder... I wanted this because I have a lateral tear in my bicep, plus a tear in the shoulder (long story x5 years), so my arm constantly feels like it's hanging out of the socket (I know!)... During one bout of PT, they "taped" my shoulder which actually helped a lot! So I figured this would have the same effect, and it did... Not as much, but could see it helping. And it's easy to put on, once you figure out to connect the arm band first. Now the dislikes.... Okay... What I hate about this..... It is NOT unisex. If you have boobs? Yeah... It cuts you off... Then it pushes up under your arm pit.. And rolls... So it's really thick and uncomfortable, and pinches the skin. No... I'm not big/overweight... I'm an average 10/12... This simply is NOT designed with women in mind.As for being "almost" undetected under clothing.... Again... NOT! In order to get support through the shoulder, you have to pull the chest strap right (duh)... Which means the shoulder piece will pretty much end up at the base of your neck, and literally across your chest..... Unless you're wearing turtle necks, this is completely visible... There's nothing undetectable about this. And BTW... One of the reasons it may pull so horribly across boobs is because of having to pull the strap tight... NOT a product issue: just the nature of the product.Moral of the story: I do not recommend this product if y'll got boobs. If you have boobs, you may want to keep looking... Keeping in mind that it might work okay for smaller chested women. Would def work for the average guy, as long as they don't have big man-boobs, as they would have the same issue. And I have two vs one stars because I think it could work/help, with the right physique...
