Work together with Anderson brand
These work well and connect to my Anderson brand without any issues.

Housings will not mate
Plastic housings were so poorly molded that the red & black would not slide together, looks like the black groove is almost correct but the red tongue (for the ARES standard "horizontal" configuration) was too short to fit into the groove. And yes, I have made up many of these PowerPole connections.

Good starter kit for Power Pole connectors
The plastic connectors seem sturdy, and the metal contacts are of appropriate gauge sheet metal. Would buy again.
