The swarm ender
So there I was sitting in the basement on my night off from work. Submersed in the shopping on Amazon. Trying my best to not be eaten alive by the fruit flys of spring/summer. Swatting every few seconds trying to be able to breathe in without inhaling the next swarm surely to attack at any second. Wondering why they were there. There is no food in my basement but my garage door open quite a bit so they are just sitting there waiting at the opportunity to invite themselves in. When there it was it this beautiful creation. I quickly ordered it with an arrival date two days from clicking the place order button. Fortunately I had to work the next two nights. I strategically planned my upcoming battle. Where would I place it? Where would my enemy most likely fall for its bright purple beauty? Would this be my ultimate weapon to change the outcome from suffering to victory? On day two I woke up from my slumber with a notification saying this had been delivered. I rushed to the front door, grabbed the box, opened it up and went to go down stairs to plug it in when…. OH NO!!!!! It’s still daylight. I impatiently waited for the sun to set over the horizon walked down my stairs flipped on the light switch to my man cave and plugged it in. Walked over to the light switch and said “Bravo 6 going dark” as I sent my basement into the darkness ready for the battle to come. I looked up to see how bright this thing really is. I walked over to my computer and sat down. When BANG!!! I heard the first of my enemies fall for it’s beauty. It was semi loud so it startled me. I chuckled as I heard a few more flys meet their demise. When they decided to rush the battlefield with all their troops. It sounded like the 4th of July with all the snaps and crackles constantly going off. After about 20 minutes, the blasts began to slow. Was this it? Had I finally emerged victorious? The answer to that question lies within the bottom of the trap. With the ease of a quick turn I pulled the convenient cleaning tray out of the bottom to see flies lying in the bottom. Never to bother me again. I highly recommend this product to anyone facing a swarm of insects. It was well worth the money.

Eastern Kentucky Approved!
We live smack dab in the forest of Kentucky. The bugs are plenty at night. Every time we open the door, a few bugs fly inside the house. We’ve bought all of the sticky paper bug traps that are out there. They all work great, but they don’t get them all.We decided to step up our game and hang this bad boy right inside the back sliding glass door. We no longer care about what it looks like inside the house, we need to stop getting bit while we sleep. The very first night it was the 4th of July, the zapper did its job. The next night and the one’s following, the zapping got less and less. We have finally got control back in our home. If we do go outside at night, as soon as a bug enters, it’s drawn to the light and ZAP!I highlyrecommend this small beast of a bug zapper. Yes, it’s a traditional zapper, it’s loud. But I no longer care, I want the bugs gone and this bug zapper does just that. The bugs at night are now sleeping too, just at the bottom of my new bug zapper.

Works well but a bit fragile.
It is not purple IRL. Works well enough and zap souls is so satisfying. Design choice is odd and needs work. The cafe needs to easily be able to come off for cleaning. It is hard to clean. I was blowing bugs off of it (brush is a joke) but that can get bug parts jammed up in the grid and create shorts (constantly activating). Disassembled the whole thing to clear it and this takes time. Appears the LED light fixture can be put in the wrong way and will not work. Keep an eye on what pin goes where. After some time and a couple naughty words I got it reassembled and back to killing bugs.

The best little zapper!!!
Bought this right before I left to Mexico in May. I took with me because there’s lots of little mosquitos that terrorize us and these zappers are more expensive if I buy them over there. We tested it outside in the evening and literally 5 seconds later we hear the loudest zap. It worked so good once we put it in our room. A few hours before we would go to bed we would turn it on so that there was no flies or mosquitoes flying around while we were sleeping. Sometimes we would forget to turn it on so there would be one or 2 mosquitoes flying around and I would turn it on and just wait in bed to hear the zaps. Once they got zapped I would turn the light off. This light works so much better than a big one that I got at Home Depot. That stupid light wouldn’t zap anything while being hung outside at night.

Terrific for fruit flies in kitchen!
We have way too many fruit flies in our kitchen (and then they get into the downstars half bath). We bought the little red apple-looking things that you put cidar vinegar into (this works), we bought the Zevo plug-in fly trap (which works, but at $4/refill, you need to refill every week or two). This zapper light is the best of everything. It has a place for bait, so you can put rotten fruit there. The first night, we had 120+ fruit flies (I counted the first 50 zaps for fun). The second night, it's way down bc so many fewer fruit flies around, but overall I've gotten another 120-150 in the few days after that. Now, you barely see fruit flies and they are still getting zapped. It has solved a huge problem and it's lots of fun.
