I have purchased this trimmer about 3 weeks ago and since then have used it a couple of times. Philips is known for being reliable and long lasting with their quality products and after sales services since the past many years. This one was no different. Based on my usage I will let you guys know my experience with this trimmer.✔✔✔✔✔PROS:✔✔✔✔✔✔ It has good quality stainless steel blades, which will last long and the best part is that they are self sharpening friction blades which will keep themselves sharpened while in use. You can opt for the even better titanium blade option for 500 more but I went ahead with this one for a good deal.✔ Talking about how sharp it is from about 10mm beard length it took less than a minute for me to complete clean shave my beard and I was shock with the results. It hardly missed when ran over one time through the beard, at most it took two runs for the curves and corners where the blade might not sit flush with the skin, else it works wonders through the most part.✔ The comb is of very good quality and sits inside the chassis around the motor, and it is adjusted by the zoom wheel on the middle of the unit. So one comb gives you all the 11 length settings and the big advantage is that it is much closer to the blade at minimum setting, which is why it is able to give that 0.5mm setting.✔ Comes with the 45 mins run time which is very good for the price, and it will run for quite a few times at a single charge, so I did not bother about the 10hr charging time and considered it a good option for trading in a longer lasting battery for slow charging rate. Just keep it for charging at night, and next morning it will be all juiced up back again.✔ For Virat fans, it is a good one to buy it at this time, as it is a limited edition signature trimmer which is having a digital signature of Virat at the side of the body.✔ Comes in a few colours, I personally preferred this one and apart from the colour it has a good texture and ergonomics, so gives a better hold on the trimmer, which is very much required for precision cuts.✔ Cleaning is very easy with the included brush and some blows with mount the beard hairs get easily cleaned. Occasionally consider washing the blade also. Always let the blade and comb dry before installing back in the trimmer unit, as the unit is not waterproof and never let water inside the trimmer unit, bad things might happen.NOTE: Note here it won't clean shave as a razor which is quite obvious as it is a trimmer, but expect to have as low as 0.1mm beard with the blade directly on skin. If you are looking to clean shave, go for the Philips One Blade instead it will server that purpose as it is designed for clean shaving.✘✘✘✘✘CONS:✘✘✘✘✘✘ I said earlier that charging is not a con for me, but what is a con is the indication, although it has a charging indication on the charger, but there is not indication if the battery is full or not, so you never know when the trimmer is fully charged. The only save bet is to charge it for at least 8 hours if you feel you have already used the trimmer for more than 25 or 30 minutes to get it 100% again. I hope Philips adds this feature to all the models even if it comes for a 100 rupees extra.◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘VERDICT:◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘Lets wrap it up now. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a lasting trimmer and Philips is known for making some of the best trimmers in the market currently. It will deliver for years to come, so you can say a one time investment when you choose this. Buy it, you will not regret. That was all.
