This product produces a very nice Tibetan bowl sound, makes a nice background sound for meditation. Docked one star because it needs to be plugged in to work. The NOIT Tibetan sing bowls machine has a rechargeable battery and sound variety is a little better, but it is hard to find.

This really helps my meditation. The sounds are very relaxing and keep my mind from wandering too much and bring me back to center. The timer is also nice. This would work equally well for sleep.

I was looking at the singing bowls and then a friend got one of these for her birthday and it sounded so good that I opted for this sound machine. I also don't have a lot of room to keep the big individual bowls so this is nice. It's a great option. Sometimes I play it in the background while I'm working....keeps me relaxed.
