These stack well for storage and the size is very convenient without taking up all the space in the sink. These should easily fit most pots and being constructed of stainless steel there's no fear of contamination when using them to cook in (blanched some broccoli in pasta water/steamed some clams). The mesh is very fine and could be used to strain tomato seeds from sauce but be sure to wash right away because the fine mesh will also hold onto any food that accidentally dries.

works great for straining canned Fruit, boiled potatoes, and rice. The smaller one fits in our large boiler, just lift out and drain.

I was looking to replace a very old sieve that was looking pretty bad. These two seemed like a good choice. I like the handles and legs so I don’t need to hold with one hand and pour with the other. I’m going to try cooking pasta with the sieve in the pot too, since that might be easier for me to manage. Seems like a good purchase.

Well made and fine mesh. Coming in two sizes is a bonus!

So far no issues with rust or anything. They clean up well either by hand wash or dishwasher. I like that the feet on the bottom allow the water to drain out the bottom. Perfect.
