Robotic Mower/Real God Send !!!
The media could not be loaded. This is our very first robotic mower. Was put off by the need to install a boundary wire but not on this model !!!Seemed too much of an inconvenience and thought of it as a bit of a gimmick until my disability prevented me from cutting the grass myself. I was thinking of hiring someone but the cost was so staggeringly high but my problem was fixed due to my son noticing this bad boy on Amazon. I must admit to being sceptical as it seemed too good to be true as in relation to what it claimed to do but how wrong was I ? As well as paying for itself It works great and copes very well in an uneven sloping garden. It is simple to operate just put it down in garden. Push button and away the wee fella goes. He detects grass that needs cutting and does not wander off or bumps into anything as I initially feared due to its built in camera and sensors. It really does perform great. I firstly thought it was not cutting the grass but it uses more advanced technology than the more traditional mowers making the grass clippings so fine & minut that it mulches and goes back into the ground which provides much needed nutrients for a more healthy lawn so no more bulky grass boxes to empty or grass raking to do. The battery life is also very good. Lasts approx 4 hours on one charge so allows plenty of time to cut both the front & back garden. Easy to charge battery. Only takes 1 hour to fully charge. There is a good enought weight to him so he is not flimsy just right. 2 years guarantee. Easy to clean. My only gripe and it's no biggy he doesn't do the edges but I just use the garden shears.I love our wee robot and he's been named Robbie ❤️

Fantastic results, great time-saver
I bought this a while ago and thought I would test it out before revewing. One of the best purchases I have made and definitely value for money. It's very easy to use, very quiet so mowing the lawn on a Sunday morning doen't disturb the neighbours! No more grass cuttings to dispose of! Make sure the grass is short by giving it a conventional mow a few days before as it doesn't seem to like long grass. After that, I use it about twice a week to keep the lawn looking short and neat. It takes about 3 hours to cut a small lawn and looks like it is moving randomly but the end effect is brilliant. It does recognise all but one edge in my garden. This is in the front on an open driveway, no garden walls. I had to retrieve it when it veered off down the pavement! I overcame this by putting a few spare house bricks in its path and this did the job. I have confidence in it now that it won't go wandering and feel more relaxed about just leaving it to do it's job instead of watching over it. I do still have to occasionally strim the edges as it leaves about 15cm uncut. A couple of my neighbours are impressed with the results and how effortless it looks to keep a lovely neat lawn and now intend to buy one!

Slow but sure
My first machine never moved 1 centimetre. The replacement mower is great. The machine was initially good at finding places to beach itself but not its fault and quickly sorted and this potential problem is covered in the instructions. It is light and easy to carry to the lawn. It is a good idea to carry the battery in the other hand to make it even lighter. No more running a cable out of the house and walking up and down all over the lawn pushing a mower. I can get other jobs done while this mower does its job. Each battery lasts long enough for my needs. Charging doesn't take long anyway. The camera seems to work pretty well detecting grass and the sensors do their job finding obstructions. You hardly hear it when it is working. You aren't likely to upset the neighbours even on a quiet afternoon. It is easy to clean afterwards as not much clings to the mower.I don't let the grass get very long and this means you hardly notice the cuttings. My lawns look a lot better even after a few months of use.The plastic strimmer is fine but the line is sadly not the best quality. I found the auto feed wouldn't work properly until I unwound some line and rewound it. The plastic was sticking to itself. The strimmer is light to use. I would still recommend you buy it with the mower as it also gives you a second battery.Others have named their mower. If I did this I would call mine Patience! Not meant to be a criticism. It is a relative bargain in the robot mower scene. Others are much more expensive. Overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase and am glad I took the advice of another owner who told me how good it was. He wasn't wrong.

Fantastic Robot Mower
I have a one acre garden with multiple lawns. I needed a robot mower but didn’t want to buy one with boundary wires or satellite guidance due to having five separate lawns and a tiered garden. At £300 I thought it was worth trying.I have been very pleased with my purchase. I have owned this mower for one year now.It has an excellent battery life. I get more than four hours out of a charge. It is easy to move from one lawn to another.I like that I can switch off its sensor and adjust the cut height on wilder parts of my garden. It mulches and the lawn has never looked healthier. It’s well built. Mine has taken a tumble from the top lawn to the lower lawn (about 1.25m drop) and continued mowing the lower lawn.Handles slopes better than I thought it would. Two of my lawns are on a hillside. It mowed at least two thirds of these lawns with ease leaving me with a small area to finish myself with the push mower.I’ve just bought another one for a friend who is unable to mow his own lawns anymore. You must define your boundaries to prevent it falling off the lawn.It mows anything that is green so Autumn leaves cause some issues with its sensor. I’d rather rake or blow the leaves away than push a mower though. It’s perfect for me as I work full time from home and I am now in my sixties. I don’t have the time or the energy to look after such a large garden on my own.
