I bought these to make a blue mummy costume for a friend’s annual Spring Equinox Dress Up Extravaganza. Three of the roles of tape got the job done as I wrapped them around my body. However, as I drove to the party and made a stop at the Booze Barn, the tape kept ripping and detaching. I may have wrapped myself too tightly with it. So, I arrived looking like a blue mummy whose tomb fell victim to reckless treasure hunters. The event was an all out bash with my friend’s trailer being wrecked! I went back the next day to help clean up and do some minor remodeling. After we washed all the Boone’s Farm and Steele Reserve off the walls, we painted them. I used the fourth role of the painters tape in our job and it worked fantastically. The color, adhesion and size were perfect.

Ok painter tape. It did not stick well to previously painted surfaces that was already cleaned. There was some paint bleeding underneath the tape.

I bought this tape and hope that it would do the job that it was meant to do for the reason that I bought it. The reason was to do the area between the kick boards and the base of the floor where there were minute cracks enough for bugs to crawl through. I am saying that because my next door neighbor bought a mattress from a church which had bed bugs in it! Oh boy right? So his place was going to be treated by the company hired to do the job of fighting this bed bug infestation. Sidebar; do not buy a used mattress from anybody and you won't have that problem! The point of the matter now was that dog had run and now we were having to deal with the problem as it is or was. The treatment was done and I did not have a mass migration over to my place because I put that tape down and there was no bugs that got through to my place and the process of them dying as they were running away from the fumigation that was being put on them to kill their little bug asses. I was very happy about that! 🙏 I had taken the time out to put this tape on every area or wall that was on a vulnerable side of the building which would be a pathway for bugs to get through to my apartment. The tape stayed in place and has stayed in place for the 2-month period that I'm using to be sure that nothing gets true into my apartment. The other function of this tape would definitely be to be used for painting purposes and masking for all reasons that masking tape should be used. I use this masking tape to tape up the area between the kick boards and the boards on the floor and not letting anything crawl through to me and this tape has stood up and done it'sjob which made me want to at least write something about the tape being very stand up and five star for its use. It is cheap, economical, stays in place, does its job. I recommend this tape for all uses whether it is masking tape or painting purposes or trying to keep pest and critters out of a very new apartment. It has stayed in place and stands the test of time so in other words it is very durable. Sticky and stays in place until you pull it up and out. I'm just hoping that when I pull it up I don't pull the paint off the wall. The sticky part didn't fuel that sticky but what do I know? If that should change and I pull the tape up and the paint comes off I would definitely rewrite and edit this review. In the meantime this tape is five thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍

I have worked as a painter, so I know what makes a good masking tape (and how to properly apply it, which of course is the most important thing.) I can't say this is better than a name brand tape, but it has worked fine in every respect, and I enjoyed paying less, especially since it's mainly getting used in non-painting contexts as a removable labeling or fastening tape.If you apply it to a matte surface, like unfinished paper, it may separate the paper when removed. This has not been a problem on painted or slick surfaces. There is a trade-off between adhesion and ease of removal. This is not for extra-sensitive surfaces, but for regular surfaces.

It does the job for basic projects, but it’s not as strong as I expected. It sticks fine at first but sometimes peels up on edges, and removing it can leave a little residue. For small or quick paint jobs, it’s okay, but I wouldn’t call it premium quality

For the price, it does it job. It is not as good as the quality like the 3M tape. It does stick pretty well and easy to peel off.
