Have this 4 months now. It's doing a good job replacing a nest of discrete extenders but I have a few issues that would make me think twice about purchasing again.First, it's not as good as a proper hdbaseT extender. One of my TVs has about a 40m cat5e cable run. At 1080p, a discrete hdbaseT device works fine, but the proprietary Orei receiver will not work correctly. I've ended up feeding the Orei HDMI output to the existing hdbaseT extender, which kind of defeats the purpose.One of my Samsung TVs fed on an HDMI output from this device exhibits an increasingly annoying audio glitch after 24 hours. If left alone, audio will eventually drip out. I need to do a flip between inputs configured on the device to fix it.Finally, just this week, one of the CAT outputs on the device has failed. I confirmed this by painstakingly switching cables and receivers. Thankfully, the HDMI is working ok on this channel, so I could resolve the issue by swapping TVs around o. The device, but not a good sign after 4 months.Otherwise, it's doing well and the API control is really useful for HA integration. I'd really be reluctant to upgraded to the 8x8 unit though, as it's expensive and if the same kinds of issues apply, it would be very disappointing.

Distributes tv via CAT6 with no issue...but the fan is terribly noisy. Other options are expensiver and costly, but if you have the budget consider a HDBaseT box.

Have not yet fully installed the product, but from testing the splitter works fine. One downside is that this was purchased in the UK, but shipped from the US. Came with a US power plug and no adaptor to convert to UK power sockets, so had to purchase that separately. At time of purchase there was no mention of country of shipping. Consequently the estiamted arrival date was not met by 4 busieness days. Not a major issue, but would be useful for this to be detailed on the amazon site.

Overall good product in term of resolution but after half hour, it gives few seconds lag in display.
