Q: is there a problem when sprinting, such as having to push L3 harder to force out the sprint or sensitivity problems?

No problems, when replacing try to use a suction pen instead of solder wick, and make sure it's melted but don't over do it as some lines in the pcb might come off. The performance is really good, it doesn't feel brand new stiff which I liked more like a month or two broken in feel.

Q: Will the L3/R3 work with these replacements??

Yes, I bought these to fix what my kids call the “run glitch”. Pushing down in the toggle is the sprint function in COD and it had worn out. Once I replaced them with these, it resolved the problem.

Q: I tend to drift a bit, not saying if its left or right. Think a few of these would help put me on the straight and narrow?

Yes, these will cure the drift. However don't attempt to desolder the old stick and solder in the new one. Instead, remove the disk contacts from the old stick and replace with the disk contacts from the new stick. Far simpler to do. This is the part that wears out. Google for the exact procedure. There are many examples out there. I brought three problematic dualshock controllers back to life this way.

Q: Are these replacements oem? do they work the same as the original?

This Franco probably sells them. They are by far the worst ones out here. They drift out of the box, and go from 0 to 100 when moving them. There is no in between
