Best deal and works well.
I read reviews on several sites and studied which twin bed with trundle was the best for our situation. I would have liked a pop-up trundle, but the money difference wasn't worth it for our purpose. The squeaking that many reviewers mentioned caused me concern, but I read that about both metal and wood products. In the end, I decided to take a chance and use a suggestion to use duct tape as a buffer. I had black duct tape on hand and used it everywhere a connection was made. Then when setting up the trundle at the end, there were some metal clamp things that make sure the trundle doesn't collapse. They are loose fitting and if you move the bed, they rattle. Nothing about this bed squeaks, but that part of the trundle definitely rattles with every move. So, once I came up with a way to stop that, it is very sturdy and quiet. A 8" mattress is absolutely the thickest mattress that works though. I plan to get risers so I can put a pillow topper on the trundle mattress. It took 2 hrs total for me to assemble by myself which included additional time used for taping with duct tape.

Great Daybed!
We needed a smaller bed for our guest room with the option to also have a bigger bed when we have couples stay with us. This daybed is perfect! It was very simple to assemble and took less than an hour from start to finish. The design is very sleek looking and it seems to be sturdy. We bought 8 inch mattresses for it and the 8 inch is definitely about all you can do on the trundle to be sure it fits under the top part of the bed. It’s a great height, not too high and not too short. The trundle is on wheels and so easy to pull out. I do recommend double checking you have the legs locked when using the trundle. I laid on it without checking and it fell. Over all I think it is a great value for 200 dollars!*please excuse the janky comforter on the trundle. I just put an old blanket over it because we have pets.

Great for a guest space!
Purchased for my sons room that also functions as our guest space. Great quality. Went together pretty easily. Fits the space we purchased for really well. It was not missing any parts. It's not super noisy. For the cost, the product is great. The trundle feature is great and I love that it raises up to the same height of the bed to make it a king size for guests. The trundle doesn't roll great, it could be that it's on new carpet so it's difficult to get it to underneath straight, but that's not a huge issue.

easy to put together
Easy to assemble. It's a little difficult to lift the bottom bed to the same height after you roll it out, but even so, it's still a good product. The wheels lock so the bed doesn't move around at night when you sleep. We are very pleased with it

Metal is noisy!
It was easy to put together. However, the metal makes a lot of squeaking sounds and my teen is petite, also it scratches my floor. I suggest only use if you have carpet. I would return it if it I had more time.

I can use this as two twins or one king size bed in my guest room.
I chose this bed over most of the others because I did not want the back part that sticks up behind the pillows. I used to have one of those and every time my kids wouldn’t move around too much or mess around on the bed it would wiggle back-and-forth and hit the wall behind it. This one is in a spare bedroom that I do not use that often now. I mostly wanted it so that when the grandkids came over, I would have a regular bed for them to sleep in. I simply lined up pillows along the wall so that they’re soft and don’t scratch or ding or bang up against the wall. This was pretty easy to put together, and the quality was decent. I don’t have the description in front of me at this second but if I remember right, it holds a pretty reasonable amount of weight. I bought two matching mattresses so that if I wish I can make it into a king size bed.

Very difficult to pop up & down - bad for King bed use
This is really disappointing. We wanted a pop up trundle that would transition to a king bed, but this is not it. If you're using two twins there is a gap about a few inches wide between the mattresses. You can't just push them together because the edge of the frame is slightly higher than the panels under the mattress. This is also why putting a king size mattress wouldn't work either - there would be a raised bump in the middle.Additionally, the trundle is EXTREMELY difficult to lower. In fact, it's dangerous. You have to pull and tug so hard to get it to lower that I am very afraid it will break my fingers / hand. My very handy husband even thinks is a major liability. We just don't think it's worth getting an injury over...I would love to return this and get my money back, but we got rid of the box and put the whole thing together. I'm seriously so disappointed.
