Simple, practical bidet solution
If you wished you had a bidet but do not have one, then this is a brilliant solution. It slots firmly and robustly on top of the toilet bowl. Pour in some warm water and that’s it. Emptying is very easy too.

Lasted for years, but a little flimsy
I just came on amazon to purchase another of these devices, saw that the one I bought 10 years ago is still for sale. I used it for a bit, then it went into storage to come out when I started having REAL problems, I didn't know what bottom problems actually were when I bought it. Seen an average of around 4 uses per week, I estimate, for the last 4-5 years.I like it, and not too pricy. It does, however, feel a little flimsy. At one time I had visions of it collapsing in to the toilet as I used it. I started trying to spread it open as much as I could (flatten it out) as I sat on it. It now doesn't have the appearence that it is bending at all, and I don't see why it won't last for some time yet. But I would recommend trying to flatten it ( or any similar device ) as you sit on it, if possible. You want to be thinking about getting the side pieces over the lip of the toilet bowl as much as possible, so they are parallel to the ground as you sit downI've used it on several different toilets and have not found one too small to use it. I'm a slighty built 5'8" male and find the size just right. It is definitely not sized for children

Perfect for what I got it for.
I am so glad that I made the decission to get a sitz bath prior to my heamorrhoid operation. Not only are they great for personal cleaning, but I found that they are a big help for having an immediate effect on pain relief of the personal area when used with very warm water. (When I say "very warm" this means no hotter that the BACK of your hand can tolerate). This one that I chose on Amazon has a pouring spout at the back to ease emptying of the water. Additionally, I found that if you put too much water in, this pouring spout acts as an over-flow as you sit down and put your hand in the water to clean yourself.I worked out where the precise water level was on the inside of the bath and marked the level with a sharpie permanent marker pen. For me this was 45mm (one & a half inches) from the TOP of the bowl. Finally, there is a soap tray moulded in to the front of the bath to use if needed. (Personally, I have not needed to use any soap with my condition so far). I fill the sitz bath twice & wash. Then, sometimes do a final wash with a decent amount of salt in the water.Very satisfied, and very pleased I found out about these Sitz baths.Mel in S,Yorks.

Does the job, but don't overfill, or you'll get a tsunami.
Ideal if you need to freshen up during the day

I cannot read German!
The product is simple, sturdy and does the job adequately. However, perhaps the positioning of the soap tray at the front of the product is not a great design feature: attempting to grapple with wet soap and transfering it to the rear of the product and vice versa (dripping wet soap all over the floor!) is a less than welcome task. Maybe, trying to accomodate the tray nearer to the rear of the product would make it more 'user friendly'.And, unfortunately, all of the two-page instruction manual was in German! Although the product is pretty much self-explanatory, there's obviously bits of information that non-German speakers are missing out on!
