Q: How long does it take to dry

HiWe had all our windows and doors opened because the product also has a strong smell and we did not use or wet the surfaces where we applied it for 24 hours. Make sure you do any corrections before it dries as it is harder to make them later. Overall, after all this time (more than a year) I still do not have any trace of mould and I would still recommend this product.I hope it helps you.

Q: Replacing ceiling mounted bathroom fan? Should i use this along with the sealant gun to replace my broken bathroom exhaust fan (ceiling mounted)?thx

Wouldn't have thought a sealant was needed on a new fan.

Q: Does it come in colours? Is it paintable?

Silicon sealer is usually white, cream, clear, brown and black and does not usually paint too well. It provides waterproof seal. If you want something to fill a gap /crack you’re best with a tube of decorators caulk which you can paint over. But caulk does not provide waterproof seal

Q: Does it come with a protective cap?

No but you can put a screw into the end to seal it for a number of weeks to stop the contents from hardening.
