Excellent bucket
This is a GREAT bucket. I threw away the mop wringer part and just use it as a simple bucket. Very sturdy and useful for many things.

Bucket
It’s a bucket! Only disappointment is that there is not a notch in the wringer that helps keep the mop upright when you need to stand it up.

its a good solid mop bucket
I waited weeks for this, not realising it was being shipped from overseas (rather than coming from a UK depot), but, it is a good quality plastic bucket as you would expect from Valida, nothing like the thin versions sold by cheaper outlets and supermarket own brands.

It's a bucket.
This bucket is pretty good, the squeegee action will keep you amused for minutes, the plastic is good quality, the size is useful and it has a metal handle.... what's not to like 👍

Inexpensive companion to Vileda microfibre mops
The ideal companion to Vileda's SuperMocio Microfibre & Power Mop, the "Vileda SuperMocio Bucket" with Torsion feature (as per its attached label) looks remarkably similar to another of its mop buckets, but that lacks the 'Torsion' feature. Purchased for under £10, other similar buckets sell for considerably more. It needs minor and simple assembly, specifically the location and pressing home of the torsion portion to the rear.Several Vileda mops and buckets use a system whereby the mop head is spun, either by a spring system set within the handle or an arrangement within the bucket of which some are pedal-powered, as would a spin dryer to remove all but a small residue of water. The torsion system replaces that with a squeezing action where the plastic fingers in the top black section enclose around the head as the mop is pressed firmly against them and rotated clockwise to remove residual moisture. You may need to ensure that the handle is solidly locked as it might otherwise collapse; it did on first use and it was thought to be tight! The bucket can apparently also be used with other compatible Vileda microfibre mops, either those of the 'string' or 'fabric strip' types. The front lip of the bucket has a spout to ensure that the contents are cleanly emptied without being dispersed over a wide area and there is a fitted metal handle for carrying. The bucket is ovoid and is potentially able to fit into narrower spaces than may otherwise be possible.Together with the mop, this set will replace a 5-year old and less easy-to-use Vileda 'system' where the mop-pad has lost absorbency and for which spares are no longer available, making the mop and its dedicated bucket redundant.
