Heavy duty worked great

I didn't use this for strapping. I used it to make custom brackets and fastening strips for woodworking and electronics projects of mine. It's just the perfect thickness that you can bend it with tools but it's hard to bend by hand. So it stays in place until you don't want it to. It's drillable, use cobalt bits and slow speed with firm pressure after denting it with a punch to prevent walk. It bends on a vice. It can be cut, just barely, with aircraft shears. I've been able to cut or sometimes even melt slots into it with a rotary tool and a fiberglass cutting wheel. So to mount a numeric keypad for example, I cut a 2" or so piece. Then I drill two holes at one end. I cut a slot with shears on the other and shape it with the rotary wheel. I sand a little, no point having burrs. Then I fold it into an L on the vice and also use the vice to crush the metal flat around the holes and slot. Now I have a custom bracket where I can put the two screw holes into the case and use the slot to adjust the height of the pad until it fits the enclosure. Stuff like that. So ultimately, what pleases me so much is that it's at exactly the right strength and thickness to bend when you want it to but stay put when you want it to do that.

Used this strap to reinforce the holding tanks on my travel trailer. From the factory, the three tanks had only two straps under the ends of the tanks. Now they each have three additional straps for a total of five each. And I doubled them up on the ends, wrapping them around the metal frame to make the attachments even stronger. The strap is really hard to cut with tin snips, but surprisingly, you can bend the straps a couple times and you'll hear a brittle cracking noise. A couple more bends and the strap cracks across the bend.

I was looking for something to replace some metal straps on some old redwood furniture. I had been looking for some time and finally decided this was the best product. The strapping is stiff enough to provide support and it was easy enough to work with for a do it yourself project guy without a ton of tools

Good strong strap

I have a 93 motorhome that I had to remove my blackwater (pooper) tank (that's a whole story by itself). The original support straps had been cut by someone in the past and they had rigged up a crappy (pun unintended) way of supporting the tank. When I was re-installing the tank, I wanted to use strapping similar as to what had been originally installed by the manufacturer. RV places don't tell you what to use or offer to sell you anything. I found this on AMAZON (aren't they great!) and it worked perfectly. A tank full of waste in my rig is about 300 pounds. No problem for this stuff!
