Works great! We have a simple ladder and a 12ft round pool. We used this inside, to protect the liner and have had no issues. It keeps the ladder from sliding around, which is another layer of protection for us and for the pool!

Nice, thick mat. Texture on 1 side, smooth on the other. It floats away if the ladder gets moved.

I needed a mat to hold my stairs better and this one does the trick. Easy to put into the water and lay flat and held the stairs straight. My only con is that my vacuum gets stuck on it and stops working.

While all of the photos show this product in a roll, it actually ships folded up. When unfolded, there are whitish blue stress marks along the fold which I found surprising if this is a high quality rubber. The marks are more prominent on the back than the front. The product is easily cut to fit but I was also surprised at how easy it was to tear by hand. Since it just sits under a ladder I have confidence that it will perform well. Would I buy it again? I think I’d shop around first and perhaps end up picking this product again. If it’s high quality rubber, I expect to get at least three years of service out of this matt before the chlorine causes it to deteriorate.
