Q: Can you comfortably wear these to sleep nightly long term? I’ve used cylindrical before & those created sores against septum.

I have not tried this one before, but have used the original SleepRight Breathe aid for quite a while and had no problems with wearing them all night. It took me a few nights to get used to them, but I haven't had any problems with excessive irritation or sores. I like them a lot better than the cylinder style because they are more flexible (but still keep the airway open) and more "one size fits all" so there is no problem with needing to cut down a tube that is longer than your nasal passage.

I don't know what the regular ones are like, but I can tell you the sport ones are quite effective and will not fall out while you're exercising. I tried them for the first time on a long trail run recently, and they definitely helped my breathing. I have allergies and can't breathe well through my nose when running. They're not the most comfortable, but I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of comfort for better breathing.

The 2 pack has 4 pieces altogether. Each piece is designed to be worn at least 15 days, but you could prob wear them a lot longer. They are a soft rubber like material that are easy to keep clean. It is a one size fits all. I have a small nose and they fit just fine.

Nose feels numb the next day

It works good, but the nose feels numb the next day.Maybe because we sleep while the air conditioner is on so the air is always dry in the room, but who knows .

It will be great if there were different sizes to choose from according to nose nostrils size. Noses differ is size tremendously.
