As a sufferer of Hypoparathyroidism (low calcium) I find these supplements extremely helpful. After taking the subscribed alternatives by my GP for over 20 years which caused me to experience severe migraines and stomach cramps I chose to research my own treatment for my condition. After taking these for 6 months my calcium levels increased to just above normal levels which is more than the alternative could do, but the major bonus is no more migraines and stomach cramps. The individual tablets are big and not easy to swallow however this is easily remedied by crushing them in to powder, breaking them in half or my preferred method is to just simply chomp them in my mouth prior to swallowing. All of which is easy to do. They are totally tasteless so obviously leave no nasty aftertaste in your mouth however if you do chomp them I recommend taking them with plenty of water as they can go quite bitty and tend to lifer in the mouth. Some pills do come broken but I think this is a small price to pay for a quality product. Also very good value for money.

There are many calcium and vitaminbD products available, some mutrionally sound, others less so. This product meets the standards and recognised as one of the best. I look no further. One or two tablets a day helps protect your bones and immune system. Don't compromise your health, take as directed daily.

Like others have said this is a good product, but it is hard to swallow. I thought people were exaggerating when they said it was hard to swallow, but even I struggled with it - but I've found that by using a full glass of water it is OK and I can get it down. But can see how others could find it very hard. But on other hand the pills are very soft and so could easily be chewed and swallowed. But it would be good if there were instructions on the bottle if chewing them was an option or if this could reduce their 'slow release' capacity.

Value for money. Although there is a characteristic smell, there is no taste. The effectiveness we know that will be noticeable only after certain period.

It’s a huge tablet and won’t break using your fingers. I had to buy a tablet splitter to cut it in half.I don’t know if they are doing any good but my dietician told me to take them as I have IBS and struggle with dairy products.

Having recently broken my wrist I wanted calcium tablets to supplement my diet and strengthen my bones & recovery in addition to excercise. I ordered on a subscription three monthly. I find these easy to take with water leaving no aftertaste

It DEFINITELY contains CALCIUM CARBONATE!!I just received this and contrary to the review, it has calcium carbonate listed as the first ingredient! I didn’t try to read the packaging since it was in Italian, not English and instead trusted the AI!!I’ve only taken off one star because I can’t judge on its effectiveness since I’ve not started taking it yet. I bought it to help with bone formation and healing after a leg fracture.If I have any negative issues, I’ll definitely come back and update this review. No updates? Good news!
