Does not allow to shift well
The shifting after installing this shifter was poor and almost dangerous. It does feel nice with short distances to shift but the block it sits on that makes the distance between shifts is too big. I had to uninstall part, but I might take it to get shaved down at a shop to make part work. It was cheaper than other Toyota pickup shifters. I used it on a 1986 Toyota pick up.

Worth buying.
I figured I'd give this a try to see if I even wanted a shorter throw before shelling out the money for a Cube shifterI've been running this for probably six months now, and the only complaints are that the hardware is total garbage, and the plastic bushing fits pretty loose, and rattles.

Gotta get used to short throw.
Works great except for the plastic ball on the bottom of shifter.Needed a smaller one if you're using shifter on toyota pickup w56.

Wrong Shift Knob Thread Size
Shifter has a thread that is a SAE (1/2-20) and not the advertised metric M12x1.25. This is terribly dumb. The Toyota shift knob sizing is M12x1.25. Why in the world would you use SAE? The only way to fix this is to cut off the thread, get the correct thread and weld it back on. Complete waste of time.

Pretty simple part to replace.
I'm giving it a 4 star bcuz it didn't come with any instructions. But other than that it went right on.

Does not fit my supra...🥲
No big surprise, didn't fit my 86.5 supra... nothing does... but I will make things happen.

Highly recommended, works great
This fits onto my 21R Toyota transmission perfectly and is a major improvement. The short shifts are accurate and solid. It's an amazing upgrade. Best thing you can do if you want to upgrade your shifter.
