We use these lights in both exterior and interior sockets. They work well outside and work great inside. The only issue we have had is we have some lights that are at about the limit of the Wi-Fi connectivity and because of that distance sometimes we have to make changes using Bluetooth from my phone immediately adjacent to the lights.

Very impressive results. The iphone app actually works quite well although there is a learning curve. I own other Feit IOT devices; I am highly satisfied with their performance.

I've had these bulbs for about a year now and this is what I have taken away from the experience.As with all technology, there will be a learning curve and you will encounter issues. With that being said, the issues that I did encounter could have been less stressful if I had simply written down personal instructions and planned more ahead of time.There were a few issues with the bulbs themselves...not working properly, not connecting, errors, etc. Those were addressed quickly by the customer service folks and I was promptly sent new devices that worked without issue.I say these are great for people that are new to the smart home world for a few reasons.If you are planning to add a few bulbs to your house...maybe a room or two...these will work just fine. Once you reach the point where you have 25+ smart bulbs though, you will likely run into problems. The bulbs will clog up your network and periodically disconnect causing a headache.I reduced the number of Feit bulbs to 15 and haven't had a problem since.The other 20 or so lights that were previously Feit lights are now replaced with GE wifi bulbs. GE wifi bulbs, and other brands like Philips are better suited for a person looking to have a large number of bulbs on their network.-Integration with Alexa was easy as could be-Running 15 or so bulbs in a house with wifi placed on the third floor, and blubs located on all three floors...no issue with connectivity (since I reduced from 35)-Brightness is was I would expect from a normal light bulb-I have some Feit recessed lights and I absolutely love themThe last thing I would mention would be to avoid mixing smart bulbs with other brands. That was the most common situation that resulted in problems. If you're going to have multiple smart bulb brands in your house (like me), make sure you do not cross brands in rooms / groups that you have set up on Alexa...avoid the cross branding and you'll likely avoid 90% of the problems I ran into early on.

I have a streetlight at the end of my driveway a good bit away from my home. I had a dusk/dawn light in there as I really don’t want to have to remember to turn it on/off at night, which worked fine. But, I wanted something to go on/off with my smart setup at home, and also be bright enough to aid cars on my very dark street. This works! It’s about as bright at my 100w equivalent dusk/dawn Edison LED on Warm or White. Colours are very very dim even at brightest, but I feel like colours are more for decoration and not for seeing anyway, so fine with it. I was also worried that this wouldn’t catch my WiFi being so far from the home. Luckily, it works fine and consistently. In the app, it does say signal weak, but so far it always is connected and comes on and off with my routines like all my other lamps. I’m happy with this.
