🔧 Power your RF projects with precision and reliability — don’t let interference hold you back!
The FT-240-43 Ferrite Toroid Core by Fair-Rite is engineered with Mix 43 ferrite material to deliver superior RFI suppression across 20-250 MHz. Its large 2.4" outer diameter and high initial permeability (µi ≈ 850) enable multiple wire turns, supporting high-power applications up to 1 kW. Designed for HF baluns, impedance transformers, and EMI filtering, it offers excellent thermal stability and versatile use in various RF and antenna configurations.

Good ferrite
Value and build quality cant be beat. It’s functional if you use it correctly.

Great for a UHF Choke
I built an antenna for GMRS and needed to stop the common mode current. Prior to adding this as a choke my feedline had an SWR that floated from 1.2-1.5. Adding this with 6 wraps of coax near the antenna worked amazingly well at stabilizing the antenna system.FT-240-43 FT240-43 is the ferrite you want for UHF

Fixed my Yaesu Ft-710 rfi problems
I wrapped both my power cable and coax thru two of these as I was having rfi getting into my new Yaesu Ft-710. I am using my radio inside my car with a 20 meter hamstick on a magmount on the roof. I was only able to go up to 60 watts or so before my rig would beep on transmit and lock the radio. With one of these on my coax and power cable I can now transmit using 100 watts with zero problems.

works great - packaging could be better
Works great, but not packaged really well for shipping. They are somewhat brittle. I ordered one of these along with all the other part I needed to build a 49:1 unun for an end-fed half-wave antenna for amateur radio. Unfortunately it was all stuffed into one of Amazon's paper envelopes, which resulted in one casualty - this toroid, which was literally snapped in half, because they put it in a bubble wrap and then into a plastic bag. Amazon gladly setup a return and replacement, but would take a week to deliver the replacement, which was a disappointment to say the least. This motivated me to place a separate order, this time for two of these instead of one, for higher power handling, and quicker delivery (and the hope that at least one of them would be good enough to build with), which was in time for me to continue my antenna project before the weather changes on me again.

Common Mode Choke.
This ferrite ring was perfect for building a 'common mode' current choke as used in amateur radio transmissions lines. It is large enough to accept up to twenty turns of RG-58X coaxial cable.

Quality product for ham rig
Quality ferrite. Built common mode choke and a 49:1 unun for an EFHW antenna. Works great with low SWR.
