I am very pleased with this silver alginate dressing. It heals some serious cuts fairly quickly. First I clean the wound with wound cleaner which also helps to debride it a bit. then I cut a piece of the silver alginate dressing and place it over the cut or wound making sure the entire wound is covered. I do it with clean hands or gloves. I cover the entire wound with a clear dressing of which there are several types. Make sure the dressing is large enough to give space I around the dressing. I change the dressing after 2-3 days. After each change the wound is a lot smaller. For larger wounds you may want to use abdominal pads at first secured with tape.

I am quite pleased to find this product at a very affordable price. And it works as it should for healing wounds.

So far so good it's really helping soaking up stuff I have had a skin issue that is open and draining alot doctor told me get this soaks it up use gauze on top of that . Haven't had any issues yet with it . Will be buying on repeat till my wound is heal .

I purchased this for my mom‘s friend who is a diabetic. They really like this product as it did not stick to the wounds.

I have used the Dimora branded AG+ for a few years now for reoccurring chronic venous ulcers as instructed by wound care, along with the Dimora high exudate bandage, and they are both consistently high quality products compared to hospital & other brands (telfa). Even the nurses at wound care commented on the high quality.When I ordered a new supply of the AG+, only the "upgraded version" was available. Come to find out, the only difference is that the individual packaging is now a sealed plastic type and no longer the older paper one. Which seems to be a better seal to keep moisture out. Amazon's product description does not imply as to what the upgrade pertains to.So, rest assured, the updated version is still a silver calcium alginate dressing for infection and high exudate control that actually does not stick to the wound if changed as directed.I hope this helps.

I'm sure this is good for some wounds. But do not use this for a large bad ulcer. I put it on trying to find something aside from mepilex ag silver cuz I'm allergic to the adhesive so looked up non adhesive mepilex this popped up . Ordered it . It did seem to be going well until I took off my dressing and saw that the bandage had completely disintegrated into pieces and some of it came right off. But many large and small pieces stuck to my wound like it was skin. And I had to scramble and find tweezers thankfully I had some.. but had to peel the rest of it off with tweezers during an already painful and discomforting time. It made things much worse .. have to try a diff one prolly foam.
