My 3yr old has really long thin hair but a TON of it. The hair underneath at the back of the neck would turn into one large “rats nest.” HUGE knot. I bought wide tooth combs and soft “toddler approved” brushes. It didn’t matter. There would be tears and ripped hair every time. I bought this product and the shampoo and conditioner - GAME CHANGER!On my daughter’s thin hair there isn’t a residue - but I could see that being an issue on thicker hair that naturally has more oils.One thing I will say is I spray this very generously over knots. I basically soak any knot and then just use my fingers to pull the hair apart. No more tears, no more pain. This will be a staple in my household for years to come!Again though I also use the shampoo and conditioner - no idea if that helps or not

This product works magic on my daughters super tangly hair. She loves her long hair but we get literal rat nest looking areas after swimming or her playing hard throughout the day. This spray makes getting tangles out so easy.

I've have multiple conversations with chat GPT in an attempt to find a detangler that does its job but doesn't leave a residue behind. I've tried all of them. Although many claim to not leave residue behind, they all do, making a clean head of hair look dirty or as though you failed to thoroughly rinse the conditioner.Understandably, in order to detangle there needs to be some lubrication, so there needs to be some oil or conditioner. I've found that this has the least. You still can't drench your kids head with it, but a little goes a long way to detangle and it doesn't leave her hair as greasy or dull and tacky as all the others.Tip: I first spray with a bit of water and then spritz with this detangler.

Really helps with super fine and tangly hair, and it smells great too! We are on our second bottle and will certainly be getting a third!

Solution is very strong. Leaves like a covering over the hair but if you dilute the product it works great with no leftover residue.

Smells nice and works great for my daughter's super thick, curly hair! Also, their rosemary shampoo and spray kept my girl lice free during preschool outbreaks.

We have tried EVERY other detangle spray (even the network marketing ones..) and nothing works better for my girls’ hair than this spray. One daughter has thin, straight hair and the other thin, wavy hair. Just a quick spray before brushing prevents all of the yanking and screaming!

My daughters fight over this bottle. The detangler helps a lot, especially in the summer, after swimming. It leaves my daughters' hair smooth but not greasy!
