Works great for my Nordictrack Treadmill
I have a rubber mat under my treadmill to protect the wood floor. However, I have had issues with the treadmill making a loud knocking noise when the treadmill inclines or declines. After researching this, I found that the noise can be corrected by placing some type of rubber or foam padding under the back legs. I used these foam pads for the back legs, and I'm happy to report that it almost completely corrected the problem! There is still a light noise when the treadmill goes to a maximum incline, however 90% of the noise is gone. These are good quality and supportive foam, and the perfect size for what I need.

Reduces noise and vibration of treadmill
I got sick of my treadmill making it sound like I was creating an earthquake every time I jogged on it. To be honest, my floor isn't level but even so the vibration and noise were excessive.I've had exercise floor mats on my wish list for some time but wasn't ready to spend $100, so I took a chance on buying these small pads. There are six in the package. They are thick and dense, I can't squeeze the pad with my fingers like I can with those puzzle-piece foam floor mats they sell in the hardware store. I took two of the pads and placed one each under the rear wheels of my treadmill. I was skeptical that this would do the trick but I hoped it would help a little.I'm pleased with the results. I had to shim one of the pads with a piece of cardboard because the floor is uneven, but the vibration is much less and it doesn't sound like an elephant is dancing on the treadmill anymore. I live in a house, so it's only the silverfish in the basement below me who have to hear this, but I'd rather not have that slam! slam! every time I walk or jog, and I'm sure it's not good for the equipment. The most difficult part for me is that my treadmill is close to a wall and it was hard to line up these small pads with the treadmill's rear wheels. I keep the treadmill down instead of folding it after use, so unless I move the equipment I won't have to keep realigning the pads. But bear in mind that it can be fiddly to get these into place since their footprint isn't much larger than the treadmill wheels/feet.

Treadmill Use
Used these to keep treadmill in place on wood flooring with high speed running. Treadmill does well to cover most of the pad and cushions well with no wobbling. Looks exactly as pictured and not too thick.

High density rubber floor protectors.
Very nice high density rubber floor protectors. We have hardwood floors an I was concerned that the heavy treadmill may end up making depressions on the floor. These pad are very tough and came in a pack that accommodates the points that connect with the floor.I did order an alternate set as pictured but the coloring was not to our taste even though the other set was slightly thicker it was a little more giving/less dense so likely would have been better for shock absorption. In the end we kept this set.

Great and heavy-duty pads
These are great pads! I purchased a recumbent bike and needed protection for my hardwood floors. These pads have done the job, and I'm very happy with them!

Density is good but rolling treadmills will just slip off which is dangerous
I like the density of these pads, but they are too small/low friction which caused my treadmill's front wheels to slip off within a few minutes of placing down, before I had even gotten around to using the treadmill, which could have seriously injured my pet. Would not recommend for a wheeled treadmill.

Reduces Walking Pad Heat
I had my walking pad on a low pile rug, but it kept producing extra heat in my tiny home office. After a 10 minute walk, I could feel the heat on the treadmill belt with my hands. My research said that more airflow under the walking pad would help with the heat produced.I didn’t want to cover most of my rug with a big rubber mat, so I ordered these “blocks.” My walking pad has 6 legs and these are just the right size to support them without any wobble. They can barely be seen under the walking pad, so don’t affect the aesthetics of the room the way a big rubber mat would’ve. I did not notice an odor right out of the package like some rubber products have. The room and treadmill belt are now noticeably cooler with the added air flow.
