Flows Well
I had the 14-ft chunk of cypress to be installed as an at-grade concrete sill to replace a rotted pine plank. weathered & grey after many years parked in the back yard, a belt sander reveals a bunch of surface checks & cracks. When followed with a belt sander, the epoxy resin did an excellent job filling these surface checks producing a plank that is paint ready. Some bubbles came up, but a heat gun (no heat) solved this instantly. Liquid measuring syringes helped along the way to drizzle the resin into the cracks.Cheers,FanBelt32

Excellent epoxy, mixes well, hardens properly, well priced
I needed to make several custom coasters as gifts and needed a product that would work as it claimed. I needed handling time (so if it hardened too quickly, I would be in trouble), bubble-free (I used a heat gun) and I needed them to be 100% hardened in 24 hours.I didn't have time to do a test run, so I mixed 20ml of each for the recommended 5 minutes and used 2 cups as the instructions called for (measuring and mixing in one, then transferring to a second to continue mixing). As with every epoxy I have used, there were tons of tiny bubbles in the mixed product (it's almost frothy), but these worked themselves out as I used a heat gun on low for about 10 minutes.I had poured too much into one coaster, but with the longer working time I was able to use a disposable pipette to remove some epoxy without any difficulty.I have a food dehydrator that I use to dry 3D printing filament that runs at 106 degrees F. This worked perfectly to completely cure the epoxy in an 8 hour overnight.I'll be buying more of this stuff when I use it up!

Has been easy to use!
I really like this epoxy I am using it to line an old aluminum water jug from ww2 it has been a tedious project. But follow the instructions and you will be fine. I have been mixing smaller amounts and mostly eyeballing the amounts and it has been fine. The epoxy drys crystal clear and extremely shiny! My project has caused some small are bubble but isn’t really a problem form me. The epoxy has a slight smell more when it’s drying but it does go away. Very happy with this product will purchase it again.

Simply the Best Resin!
I have tried many other brands of epoxy resin. East Coast resin is by far the best product I have used. Easy to mix, (also forgiving in case I didn't get my measurements perfect,) plenty of pot time prior to pouring.Even in cooler temps in our house, resin pieces set up overnite, then pop easily out of silicone molds, let cure 2 days, and good to go.Very clear resin, strong and durable. I did some embedded things, including candysprinkles which worked great. Not much odor when mixing, tho I do open a window just for adequate ventilation.Holds details from molds very nicely.I experimented with adding some food coloring to mixed resin, worked like a charm, no separating, came out nice colors, dried and cured just great. Will continue to order East Coast resin kits.

shipped fast ... but it takes time to dry
I have used the product to glue carbon fiber, I do not know what happened, I mix the product 50% x 50% and it does not dry, not even to the touch, I have decided to put more catalyst but still the same, only dry on some sides, really I do not know what's happening

Did the job
I purchased this along with fiberglass cloth to repair the cowling of my John Deere Lawn tractor. The cowling had cracked and had started to fall off the machine, so I need to either purchase a new one ($500) or fix this one. I chose to fix it and this product combined with the fiberglass cloth did the trick. I have used the tractor once since the repair and it held up well.

Sets up very slowly.
The good news is that there is no...I say again...NO epoxy smell. And it is very clear, even after sanding with 300 grit and putting on a semi-gloss polyurethane finish. Now for the bad. I mixed it according to the instructions, EXACTLY 50-50! I used a new paper cup and new wooden stir sticks every time. After a half hour of stirring, nothing. After another half hour, still nothing. I poured it anyway. Next day...tacky and not solid. Next day still tacky. Weeks later now, I can put my thumbnail on it and press an impression. It does slowly go away but it doesn't get hard. Ever! I even tried with several batches increasing ratios favoring hardener. No difference. I have worked with epoxy resin and fiberglass for 60+ years and I am used to it setting up in less than 10-15 minutes and sanding right away on rock hard material. I will not buy it ever again. I will check with my usual professional woodworkers' sources.
