I used this exact noise machine when I was a kid! I loved the sound of rain and it seems to help my toddler. It's very easy to assemble and use. Decent size and various sound options. I havent tried the battery but the cord is simple enough. The sound quality is also pretty good. Doesn't sound staticy

This machine helped me get some sleep when baby was sleeping in our room. We would wake each other up, both light sleepers so the sound machine helped us get some more sleep in those crucial newborn months. Though, I will say I had the same one for my oldest and it didnt make much difference for him but made the difference for me. We always had it plugged in, to turn on. Love the ocean setting and the white noise. Oldest liked some of the other settings.

I bought this as I didn't want to use my echo to play sleep sounds at night anymore. It feels very light, and somewhat cheap, it hasn't broken after falling off my nightstand several times! I have been using it for some time now, and it has been working for me.Using this device is fairly easy: You turn it on, select if you wish to have a timer to turn it off, and what sound you wish to listen. As to sound, it varies somewhat depending on what you want to listen to, but the speakers appear to be more low level, as sound is not as crisp as it could be. That said, it works, at least for me. When I use this device, it helps me fall to sleep quicker than without using it. I usually have it turned on all night, without using the timer.The timer, is one of my biggest issues with this device. While I have not used it, I wish it would have more than 1 hour sleep timer. I would prefer 2-4 hours maximum, as sometimes it can take me longer to sleep, or I wake up quite a bit, and hearing sleep sounds helps put me back to sleep.I do like that it has a battery powered option. It helps if you want to use this while camping, traveling, etc. I have not used it while it was on battery powered, so I cannot say how long the batteries will last.If you are looking for a device that is cheap and works, this fits the bill!

Helps drown out outside noise ( sirens, car alarms, people yelling or kids playing loudly) Apartment living there are frequently loud noises inside and outside and this sound machine has been a game changer: the adjustable volume is great. There are 6 different calming, soothing settings: White noise, ocean, rain, brook, summer night, and thunder. It is portable with options to put in batteries or to plug it into the wall. Timer setting is great. 10/10 recommend for people who need white noise.

I like this sound machine very much. It is easy to use, has 5 or 6 different sounds to help with sleep (if you’re like me and need steady background noise). It has a cord for standard use, but also offers the ability to use it on battery power for ease of packing when traveling. It’s small enough to fit almost anywhere. In luggage, backpacks, duffel bags, etc.

My daughter has some night time anxiety but this machine has saved us! It is such an easy size and we take it everywhere. It has different options of calming sounds and volume. I would highly recommend and I have already purchased additional machines for family members and have suggested to friends.

I have been purchasing these sound spas for years and have been totally satisfied with the quality, the ease of use and their reliability. My husband and I even carry extras when we travel to help with the noise of hotels, etc. I would have given this five stars, however, I am disappointed with my last purchase, as the "white noise" makes a very distracting sound. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I made sure that the machine worked properly, but I obviously didn't listen to each sound. Since it was working, I immediately threw away the box that it came in. When it was time to use it, the irritating "white noise" was present, but there was nothing to do except try to get used to the sound. My husband put it on his side of the bed and has learned to live with it. The spas have been a life-saver, but always check the sound quality before throwing away the box!
