I was very skeptical to buy an adapter especially non canon brand but this has worked so seamlessly and you hardly even notice it’s there. I don’t feel like it adds any extra weight and I haven’t had any image cropping issues with it. Occasionally it’ll say error but usually if I just turn off the camera turn it back on or disconnect it and reconnect it works fine. I think I just may need to clean it so that’s probably my bad not the adapters fault.

I’m on my second adapter now and only have a few complaints. The overall performance and fit is great for the price, however I have not had one last longer than a year for me!For the price I can’t complain and accept that I may need to purchase a new one every year or so, but I am fairly rough on them. For the most part it lives on my M50 and will either have the sigma 24-70 f2.8 or canon 70-200 f2.8. Both of these lenses are super heavy compared to the M50 and put a ton of stress on the adapter! Every few months I take the adapter off and tighten the screws to ensure a tight fit, but after a while they just seems to loosen to the point they will cause noticeable cuts in iris control or just plain stop the recording. This has caused me some issues while shooting videos in higher stress environments and often prompt me to order a new one.However, when it comes to autofocus and lens control I have no complaints using canon glass or other brands such as sigma. I never noticed slow autofocus or any other issues! It’s great for the price, just won’t last forever!
