Feels thing, but takes ink well

I purchased this to add to an A5 planner I recently acquired, and I am pleased with the paper. The paper looks good, nice color, the dots are dark enough, but not too dark, and the grid is printed straight. The paper feels thin to me, even after using it daily for the last week, however, it takes ink well from all of my pens, including various fountain pens (using Waterman, Iroshizuku, and other inks), and Pilot G-2 ball point. There is some ghosting, though for dot-grid I generally only write on one side, and no bleed-through to date.I'm satisfied with the quality of the paper at this price point.

Great paper but I have some reservations.

I own the journal from this same company and the paper seems ticker/tougher even though both are listed as 100gsm paper. I feel like this is 90 or 95gsm, maybe this batch was a little off? Price wise its not bad but the journal is the same price or slightly cheaper so shouldn't;t the unpunched paper be cheaper?

Nice paper except for creasing

Version: A5 unpunchedThe good: I picked this paper based on another review's comparison to Leuchtturm 1917 paper. I still had room in that notebook and did a side-by-side comparison. Bleed through is about the same (it happens on heavy pens but isn't too bad). This paper is a bit thicker and doesn't feel as smooth (glossy) to the touch, but it's not noticably worse while writing. This is a great substitute, given that I want to assemble my own journal. The bad: I ordered 2 packs of the paper. One is fine, but like another reviewer showed in photos, one pack has creases/indents on all the pages. It's kind of like if you dropped something heavy on a stack of paper. Definitely more substantial than the creases that will happen during regular use. I put those pages in the back of my notebook, so hopefully by the time I've gotten there I've dropped the whole thing in a puddle or something and won't notice. But this could be a deal breaker for someone more careful with their paper than me!

Smooth paper

I love how smooth this paper is. The dots are small and light which is great for making really nice journal layouts. It is a lightweight paper so keep that in mind.

It's a little thin

I bought this paper to make myself a planner and it looks great the paper is slightly off white which I think actually looks better than white would have and the pre punched wholes are very convenient I do not have a six hole bunch and really didn't want to buy one to use to make my planner and then sit in a drawer for who knows how long I messed up and ordered dotted paper instead of blank but I actually like the dots lol they're light enough that they aren't blatantly obvious but also dark enough that when I'm writing I can see them and keep my words nice and orderly the only down side it that the paper is on the thin side and I can see my design from my previous pages throughout most of it and I wouldn't recomend anything other than ballpoint pen I used gel pens becasue I liked the colors and there were a few places the pen blend through but other than these 2 quirks over all i think the paper is a good deal and it does its job

Wonderful journaling paper

I recently got back into journaling and needed some new filler paper for my planner/ journal. I have never used for paper before and decided to try this out. I am very pleased with the performance and the sizing. Fits my Franklin planner perfectly. I journal in fountain pen ink so I needed a paper that would work well with a wet ink. This is the ticket without having to spend a small fortune. I also tried it out with pencil and ballpoint pen and both work well with this paper. The dots do take a little getting used to and there are no real margins, but I am enjoying this paper very much and love the performance. I recommend this for anyone looking for a suitable inexpensive paper for use with a fountain pen.

Great and priced accordingly

Seems quite expensive for 100 pages, but smooth writing with just enough dot but not too much. Pens flow across the paper but not so glossy it smudges.

Marginally smaller than A5 (Made in China)

Made in China, which I wasn't aware of otherwise I wouldn't have bought them, so, predictably, quality control is not its best. These pages are not A5 as they come up a good 3mm narrower, which I find really irritating. They are a darkish cream colour. Nice faint dots and quite thick paper that stands up to fountain pen, gel pen and some highlighters, but Mildliners bleed through. As a Tomoe River paper lover, these are not pleasant pages, but they're cheap and will do until I can find better quality (and correctly sized) A5 dot grid paper.

More yellow than picture shows

The paper was definitely not white more yellow when it showed up. It prints onto well and the holes line up with binders well. Its just a shame its a more yellow colour than white.

Will be ordering again.

Absolutely stunning dot grid paper with next to no ghosting and no bleed even using liquid ink pens.
