Matilde Vicenzi Italian Pastry and Cookie Tin (1.47LB)

A friend gave me some as a gift and I'd not heard of them before. I loved the variety of flavors and textures of pastries and cookies. I soon gave some as a gift and they were received well for the same reason and that they are packaged internally so it's not a huge open box. This way they stay very fresh. They make a great gift as aren't easily found in stores.

The box sat on our table after I presented it as a gift it was received with delight the tin was a big bonus to the gift the pastry was fresh and a good variety, individually packaged in sections fitted into the box so you could eat individual packages with no loss of freshness. Was a fun addition to coffee and its a great gift, the tin is a nice collectable.

I received these cookies as a gift last Christmas from my sister-in-law. My husband and I tried one and before you know it, the entire tin was finished (mostly by him). I tried looking for these cookies in stores only to find out they were out of stock. When I saw that Amazon had them on sale, I knew I had to buy one as mine and my husband's sweet tooth just couldn't resist another one of these amazing cookies, The different flavors and varieties are a plus and the small size of the cookies makes them a cute yet sweet little treat with a nice spout of tea.

These appeared to be quintessentially Italian cookies, which I remember from being stationed in Vicenza, Italy. Unfortunately, they seem to have sweetened them to meet American tastes, which are much more sweet than Italian. I'd hoped they were authentic, but it seems otherwise.Additionally, which the tin is large and attractive, it was dented a bit on arrival. This was an anniversary gift for my husband, and the dent was not terrible, but he hated the flavor and wouldn't eat them.

I was gifted with a box of these at Christmas, and devoured every morsel, while trying to pace myself. SO good, do fresh, amazing flavors. I just sent this to my sister in a rehab currently and she is loving them one at a time!

I have bought these multiple times. Nice selection. Light Flakey cookies. Highly recommend.
