BalanceFrom GoFit Multi-Grip Workout/Pull-Up/Chin-Up/Sit-Up Bar

Just opened today and I'd give it 4.5 stars based on the first workout.The bar is really easy to assemble took me about half hour to assemble, realize i did it wrong, disassemble and do itright. The instructions are a little congested and because the picture, font and lines are all black it was a little hard tosee what went where and how, but it was relatively and manageable.Bar doesn't seem to damage the door frame which saves me from paying building management to fix the paint. I likethe feel of all the grips, only major problem is the middle joint seems to kind of curve outward a bit. Doesn't seem like it will snap on me when i'm on there, but It does cause me a little anxiety when i look at it during a rep. Other than that seems like a good product.

I waited about two weeks since the incident to write this review hoping it would make me calmer and more articulate. This is extremely dangerous and I am requesting a full refund. Our 7 year old, weighing 69.2 lbs, was using this bar when it suddenly broke, causing him to fall very quickly. He was supervised when this happened and was not misusing the bar AT ALL (i.e. swinging, horseplay, etc.) We actually got the bar for him as he has been working on his pull-ups and is quite serious about getting stronger. He can execute great pull-ups with minimal to no swing at all. Just straight up and down. He is short so we put a chair for him to stand on between sets. I watch the whole time, standing by his side. The day of the incident, he had just done a set of pull-ups, took a break, then went in for another set. Upon pulling up again, the whole unit came crashing down. Luckily he landed sitting up in the chair and had a minimal bruise, but he was very upset and frightened by the shock. Upon inspection, what broke was a tiny piece of foam rubber. A strip of it that is cheaply glued to the back. Without that tiny strip, the entire thing falls out of the door jam (I guess due to a minimal size change/lack of friction between the wall and the metal). This is EXTREMELY dangerous. Had he fallen at more of an angle, he could have landed spine first on the edge of that chair. Or if the chair was not there, he would have fallen straight to the floor and the unit likely would have fallen on him on the way down. I am furious at the construction of this and would never have allowed him to use it if I realized how dangerous it is. I had used it only once or twice and I weigh less than 160. I await the company's response and I fully expect them to make this right.

I was pleasantly surprised with this pull up bar. It was easy to assemble, although I don't understand how they expect to fit the insert into the moulding of the door... Other than that, it's great for the price! It looks like the foam at the ends are wearing in even though it has only been a few days. I'll update to see how long lasting it is. At $12, so far, it's a steal.

This product was delivered unusable. Missing parts malfunctioning. I tried speaking to Amazon and the manufacturer but everything is closed warehouse is closed No one to speak to. Probably due to the pandemic. Either way this product is non-functional. I informed my Discover card to do a research and discovery. I am willing to send the product back if I have the correct free postal returnSlip but other than that this product was no good. Requesting my money back

My son loves this. Easy to put togeter easy to put up.

Sturdy and easy to assemble. Fits my door frame well and is very secure. Would recommend.

I'm 175lbs and used this for exactly 1 week.The sponge that goes against the wall fell off while i was doing pull ups. Which caused the bar to fall straight down.I am trying to upload the pictures of my heavily bruised up knees and broken bar but amazon will not allow me to.
