Genuine natural flavor
I've began using the LorAnn oils in my baking a few years back and I've never been disappointed in their quality. Although I haven't had as much occasion to use the lime extract as the lemon, from time to time I have a recipe that calls for lime flavoring. This lime extract is natural and its flavor is top quality. On every occasion I've used it the result has been that of genuine lime flavor. In addition, it's also possible to substitute or supplement the lime juice in various Mexican recipes with this lime oil. Because it's so concentrated, it's a real bargain and in the end it's cheaper than the lime extracts that are available in supermarkets.

Fake lime taste. HORRIBLE!
This is AWFUL! I love this company's lemon oil and use it for flavoring while baking all the time so I figured this would be good also. This tastes like like that that fake lime jell-o taste. It's so nasty and I didn't get to return it bc the return window time had closed but what a waste of money.

Smells like cleaning solution
This was really disappointing. I usually use Boyajian citrus oils, but Amazon was out of their lime oil, so I tried this one. (I've used LorAnn Blueberry Emulsion and liked it). This was really gross. At best it smelled like lime Tootsie Pops, at worst like lime-scented cleaner. Against my better judgement I tried a little in yogurt -- it tasted like it smelled. I ended up asking for (and receiving) a refund.

Truly terrible
I love lime, and had recently purchased some lemon oil that is amazing. This product was a huge disappointment. It tastes to me like Pine Sol smells. Awful. I'm throwing it away.Packaging wise, I wish it had a dropper.

Tastes Great in July 2022!
I didn't read other comments and just bought this oil based on my experience with other flavorings by this company. I'm glad I ordered the lime oil because it is perfect in my cookie frosting. I blend 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar with 1 tablespoon salted butter and then add 1 teaspoon heavy whipping cream. After blending this all together with a mini spatula I then add six drops of this lime oil. Perfect! I tried the key lime flavoring and like this natural oil a lot better! It has the flavor of real lime oil and tastes great!~The Rebecca Review
