The clue was in the title - "Inspecteur Barnaby" and in smaller print, "Saison 1&2". The nuances are rather lost on us, though my wife's French is passable. Not what we were expecting. Should have sent it straight back.

My wife and I love midsomer murders But its a utter pain in the backside getting rid of the sub titles and the French language. apart from that its a collection worth having.
