I have enjoyed working with it. It is accurate. It is easy to keep safe in the case it comes in.

High end is for old timers. This set does the job and have had no complaints from staff. Metal fabrication is what we do. Durable.

This was a huge disappointment. I figured for almost 100 dollars, it would be useful but I was wrong. This unit is about the poorest quality I have seen. The lock down is horrible and the screw falls out. The protractor on mine would not move at all. I undid the setscrews to where they fell out and the thing would still not rotate. I was hoping for something that would be good to use in my garage where I know it will be used occasionally and around welding and metal but I couldn't bring myself to deal with this garbage. I sent it back. If you want poor quality, I wouldn't buy this product because I would not rate this tool as even being poor quality. It is worse than that.

I thought it was a coin flip if this was going to be a nice tool or closer to junk, but luckily it was a winner. Nice and sturdy (not the thinner flimsy kind) so for the price it would be hard to beat. Just as good a super costly name brands IMO as this tool will last a nice long time for DIYers or even daily use in a professional environment.

Nice case, great combination of components

Phenomenal quality at such a good price.The case has hinges and foam that has cutouts for every piece of the kit. The case has front snap catches for closing the case and securing it. I wish it would have some kind of sliding lock to be more secure.Each piece of the kit comes in a plastic bag and each piece except for the rule comes with an oil coating to prevent rust.My son brought tools home from work to check the accuracy of all the components of this kit. He was floored to see every setup of the combination square was dead on accurate. He was amazed at the low price I paid for such a quality tool. Now I can throw away all my cheap combination squares. This was definitely money well spent.

I just received this tool today. After spending 15 minutes assembling and checking functionality, I’ve decided to return it due to initial quality issues. It was out of spec on both 90 and 45 degrees by 1/4 of a degree over 10 inches. These tolerances are completely unacceptable for a tool meant to be used in the metal working trade. Also the parts were very difficult to assemble, again, due to poor tolerances of construction. I only tried the standard head as this would be my preferred setup about 90% of the time.The bar appeared to be stamped as opposed to milled and this may the root cause of the fit and accuracy issues.I know these tools are “tunable” but should not need that till after many years of hard use.Too bad really. While the bar seemed somewhat flimsy and cheaply constructed, the 3 included heads were of very heavy gauge metal and appeared well made.
