Otafuku tonkatsu Sauce 2.1 Kg

I love the slight tang of this sauce. I use spaghetti as it is cheap and easily available, some shredded cabbage and whatever else i have leftover. Great for a cheap meal.The trouble with buying smaller packs of this sauce is that it is really expensive like most imported japanese things. I've not seen imported korean versions which would be cheaper so this works out far more economical and i'm not afraid to squirt loads on!The only downside is that it uses corn syrup but i'll let it pass.

If you've been to Japan and encountered this amazing dish called YAKISOBA, you must have noticed its amazing flavours. They cherish the natural flavours that all the ingredients have, and this sauce enhances its delicacy. Yakisoba is eaten casually and informal occasions by from small children to senior people, technically everywhere in Japan. Similarly, okonomiyaki (some people may call is the Japanese Pizza) uses very similar sauce if you can tell the difference. Apart from the special wheat noodles, probably the most popular vegetable for this dish is white cabbage. It doesn't matter how much cabbage you put in it. I would also add unsmoked bacon. If you're lucky enough to live near a Japanese food shop, go and get some bonito flakes called 'katsuo-bushi' and dried green seaweed powder called 'ao-nori', but these are not really necessary. This sauce is so delicious that you could use it for other dishes like deep fried dishes, such as cutlets, croquets and not to mention okonomiyaki. Hope you enjoy it as I do! I can guarantee you'll notice the subtle flavour in it and will be impressed!This is a large bottle, about 7x bigger than an ordinary one with 300g, so unless you own a Japanese restaurant or have a huge family, an ordinary one  Otafuku Yakasoba Sauce - 300g  will be enough for you.Bon appétit!

市販のとんかつソースなら絶対オススメ。自宅での揚げ物にも美味しい。美味しいとんかつ屋なのにソースが合わないお店はたまに有りますが、カバンの中に小さい容器に入れて持ち歩いているので、そんな時にコッソリ使いますf^_^;

近くのスーパーのカツにパウチで付属しているのを使い、とても美味しいと思い購入しました！味はソース独特の辛みはなく、それほど濃厚でもなく、甘めでとても好みの味でした！子供向けといったらそうかもしれません、私は辛いソースが苦手なのでとても美味しいと思います。ただ商品として元々パウチとこのサイズのものしかないようで、ちょっと使い切れるか不安です(..;)かといってパウチだと足りないので、普通のサイズがあったらと思いました！

関東在住ですが、近くのスーパーに置いてないので注文しました。オタフクソースはやっぱり美味い。他のソースはもう嫌です。
