Yes the logo in on the knife. The rounded back end is still a little angular.
I don't know if I thought the logo and stainless steel stamp were water marks, but they're on the knives and don't wash off. The weight of the knife is what I was looking for, substantial but not heavy. I decided to keep the knives after seeing the logos because A. so many reviews point out that its there, so that's my bad. B. The weight is nice. C. I am tired of knife shopping and we only had 4 knives left. My main complaint is that some of the knives have a kind of angular, sharp back edge. Not the most ergonomic but they're butter knives and they work.I ended up leaning into it and got the matching forks. So most of my silverware now looks emoji branded but they're working out fine.
