I am mad that you have to use Apple products with Apple products, but I cannot deny that using this brick with my products makes it charge so much quicker compared to third-party alternatives even though I have lost this brick twice before I still shall out this money to get it again from Apple Though I do it with reluctance. Brand New Genuine Apple product - less $$ than at the store. You need the larger charger for the newer iPhones and iPads because they require more power. The smaller charging cubes do not have enough power, therefore the phone charges too slow (or not at all). This charger has 3 Amp output - which is what you need for the newer/bigger devices.

I’ve been using this charging base for some time now & it works well. It’s Apple brand. It should work well. I didn’t want to skimp on anything as being without a phone is pretty traumatic in this day & age. Anyway it wasn’t too expensive for what you get & the USB C aspect DEFINITELY seems to charge more quickly than my old Lightning USB cable & port.
