I had seen a review of this earlier. Someone had mentioned that using its mercury is bad and that it’s slow. I thought maybe just one person had a bad experience and it couldn’t really be that bad. But I was wrong—seriously wrong. I really wish I hadn’t bought this BP machine. It’s so slow! Normally, it should take 5-6 seconds to measure blood pressure, but because of how slow it is and the faulty mercury, it takes around 15-30 seconds. And even then, it gives inaccurate readings. And high rate unnecessary.

DEFECTIVE PRESSURE RELEASE VALVE in Diamond BPMR120 Deluxe Mercury BP Instrument
On 28 May 2021, I placed a purchase order with Amazon India for a Diamond BPMR120 Deluxe Conventional Mercurial Type BP Instrument. I received it on 3 June 2021.Although the claim states the sphygmomanometer has a ‘Special control valve for perfect pressure drop’, the instrument is fitted with a DEFECTIVE PRESSURE RELEASE VALVE.I can easily ask Amazon to replace the instrument, but I might get another device with a similar defective pressure release valve.Will Industrial Electronic & Allied Products (Diamond) resolve the issue forthwith?NOTE: M/s Industrial Electronic & Allied Products (Diamond) has provided me with a new good valve on 11 June. The sphygmomanometer is working perfectly thereafter.
