It saved my Insta360!!!!
I took my Insta360 on a long hike and about two weeks into my hike, I noticed my screen cracked but I did not know how! I went to examine my device and noticed that my screen was perfectly fine, it was this screen protector that absorbed the impact and cracked! I was so relieved! Get this!

You definitely need a screen protector. You don't necessarily have to get this one but get one regardless. This one was super easy to apply and I'm impressed with the quality and responsiveness. No issues.

Pops up on the X5
I would not recommend for the X5. Even though it looks like it fits the dimensions of the new x5 after install ( I think the screens between the x4 and x5 are slightly different in size ) When you use the touchscreen you can hear it pop up slightly after pressing down. Super annoying. I do not think this should be advertised for the X5. I will probably leave it on until I can find the official one

Clear and doesn't affect operation; Fit is iffy
This screen protector was easy to install and is very clear. It doesn't affect the operations of the touch screen from what I can tell. It's designed with curved edges to conform to the surface of the X4. Installing it was simple, although it was a little tricky making sure it was centered so the edges lay flat. The only issue that I have with it is that the center at the bottom of the screen protector doesn't want to stick to the screen. Whenever I use that part of the screen, there is the slightest delayed "tick" from the screen protector pulling up off of the screen. Likewise, there is the slightest flex when tapping that area of the screen similar to the old touch screens. While it seems minor, it's actually pretty annoying. I'm keeping it on for now simply for the protective properties, but I'll probably try another protector.
