Phenomenal mic. Great for beginners and pros
These mics can withstand a tank running over them and you'll still get fantastic sound out of them, if your starting out, this is the mic you need, I've been gigging for over 3 years and it's the only mic I've ever needed.

Sweet as a pineapple
Can't fault this mic at all. I use it for my Radio shows as my neighborhood is a bit noisy and my condenser picks up too much background noise. This mic is sweeeet!

Industry standard for a reason
Exactly what you would expect for the stalwart of industry standards for live sound. Really pleased as always with Shure quality. Particularly suited to live sound the SM58 has been added to my case of SM58s I have built up over the years. Not the best for recording purposes but in the hand of a singer or mounted on a mic stand with a good high pass filter set on the mixer and this is just great - very little need to do any other EQ balancing and great at noise reduction from other sources including stage monitors behind the mic’s pick up characteristics. Not my first, won’t be my last and just great.

Very directional
This was much more directional than I had anticipated, and can create feedback issues when moving towards or away from the mic. Once I got the right angles, I was able to get a decent enough sound out of it.

Great Sound
I'm really glad I invested in this expensive to me but comparatively well priced mic for the quality.I have to sing very close to it but it gives a true sound, not tinny nor muffled.Sorry, I'm not techy as you can tell!
