Product came well packaged, it looked great, solid quality no marks or paint missing.Lovely color and design with a nice wide opening for getting sweet treats out the jar, it seals really good and Keeps contents fresh. Decent size, bigger than you would think. Well worth the price. This is now a perfect addition to our house.Product is reasonably priced, would recommend for all Snoopy fans.

I was concerned on receiving this cookie jar that it might be damaged, judging from the dent in the outer cardboard box, but all was well. Both Snoopy and his pot are extremely well protected in a foam casing in which they are held firmly in place.I was delighted to see him out of his box. The pot is a heavy weight and very nicely made; it's smooth to the touch, a cheery yellow colour and well painted. I want to be delighted with the lid too but sadly I am not. The rubber or plastic seal has a small hole in it which is only likely to get bigger through use. On closer inspection, the painting of Snoopy is quite poor and he is not finished as well as the pot. The 'handle' of Snoopy lying on cookies is only glued on to the lid; I can see where the glue has oozed out. I would have expected a piece, which on first glance shouts quality, to have had a handle fired in place in the kiln.The problem a glued on handle brings is that it's more likely to come loose/break off over time. The lid is tricky to get on and off as, at the moment, the seal is strong so I am having to be very gentle taking the lid off. I watched the video the seller put up and the person in it does not have any problem taking the lid off and putting it back on. From what I can see, for that part of the video, the seal has been removed.At the moment I don't know if I will leave the seal on and hope family members treat Snoopy carefully, or remove the seal and hope family members eat the contents of the jar before they go stale.I would have no problem with the price, currently £44.90, if the lid was better made. Given the condition of the lid, I do think it's overpriced.

Als bekennender Peanuts-Fan kann ich kaum an schönen Sachen der kultigen Comicfiguren vorbei gehen/schauen !Als Kind der 60er/70er Jahre habe ich schon auf die Peanuts Ausstrahlungen im TV gewartet, denn kaum eine Serie verkörperte ,immer mit viel Schmunzeln, den "American way of life " so wie dieser Comic .Ich habe so einiges an schönen Peanuts Sachen, aber diese Keksdose ist mein absoluter Favorit -die Keramikdose ist richtig toll gearbeitet und der Snoopy, mit den vollen Kekswangen ,ist einfach genial gut gemacht .Sie ist zwar nicht gerade günstig, aber jeden Cent wert !Man bekommt eine hochwertige Keksdose, die ein absoluter Blickfang in jeder Wohnung ist -sie ist allerdings sehr groß und daher für mich für Kekse eher nicht zu gebrauchen,ich nutze sie zum Verstauen von Ladekabeln,etc. .Wenn ihr die *Peanuts* liebt, dann kauft euch diese Keksdose und ihr werdet nicht enttäuscht werden.Geliefert wird die Keksdose übrigens in einem liebevoll gearbeitetem Snoopy-Pappkarton und ist mit dickem Styropor ausgekleidet, damit die Dose auch heile und unbeschadet ankommt !Ich liebe diese megaschöne Keksdose ❗❗
