Hobonichi Techo Weeks Mega [English/Tall and Slim Size/January 2024 Start] Colors: Deep Navy

This is now my 3rd year of using the hobonichi weeks. It is one of my favourite diaries to use.The cons first. For the first time, I have had issues with pen bleeding through pages. I have been using a Zebra Z grip and quite a few birthday entries have bled through the page, making an irritating outline of words on the previous / following pages. I did test the pen at the back, which seemed ok during the test. But in the main planner some entries did not bleed through, but the ones which did are irritating. On previous hobonichi weeks, I could write with almost any pen with no issue. So I will have to change pen!The pros. The quotes are interesting and the diary is in English so I can read the quotes at the bottom of the page without having to use google translate like I had been on my previous weeks.The diary is ideal for portability and fits most of my handbags. And the diary fulfils my planning needs. Very pleased with it. Will now buy a cover for it, and will definitely buy another weeks for 2025!!

The cover is made from material that is a dust and dirt magnet, which means even more money needs to be spent to buy a cover for this organiser. Even if covers for these weren’t overpriced and annoyingly hard to find, covers increase awkwardness and bulk, and one of the key advantages of this book is its compactness. The name Hobonichi is now firmly associated in my mind with useless design. I’ll tolerate this organiser for a year but never again will I be foolish enough to buy this brand. Very disappointing, especially for a Japanese product.

This is my 2nd weeks and its perfect for my planning needs, enough space to journal and plan out my week etc.

Hojas muy delgadas de papel japonés de alta calidad, con un diseño eficiente y creativo, hacen que en el pequeño espacio de este planner puedas tener organizado todo un año en menos espacio y más portátil que las opciones europeas como Leuchttrum o Moleskine. Que puedas usarlo además con plumas fuente, en mi caso un par de Pilot VP de punto medio, mejoran todavía más su valor.Recomiendo la opción mega que no es mucho más costosa y te da muchas páginas de notas si el espacio de notas semanal te llega a quedar corto.

The quality of the paper is beautiful, and the general feel.I got this smaller one as I dont usually write enough or do fancy plans like some people do, so the regular/bigger size was too much. Perfect for what I need. The book doesn't always lay flat on it's own but it still bends open very easily.

Small lines

Great size for purse or backpack. There is so much value packed into these easy care planners. Using Hobonichi is a fantastic experience. Paper doesn't smudge and is soft to write on.
