Fits like a glove and installed with ease
In order to provide power for my new 7500w garage heater, I opted for a 2-Pole 40-Amp Circuit Breaker that operates at 220v. After running 10-gauge wire through my attic, I easily snapped this breaker into my Cutler Hammer electric panel. Everything works perfectly and sub-freezing temperatures in my garage are a thing of the past.

Shorted out my dryer
Defective breaker. After replacing my breaker (old but still working)with this one my dryer and hot water heater wouldn't work. I called an electrician who said the breaker was defective. It somehow blew the heating elements in my dryer. The hot water tank was fine after getting a new breaker. This breaker cost me a $600 clothes dryer... DO NOT RECOMMEND

they work, but --
I always have a devil of a time getting these "off-brand" CH cbs to spread enough to grab the bus bar. I end up having to jimmy them with a screwdriver to loosen up a bit before I can seat them hold. Once that is done, however, they work just fine.
