best lite bright! only not great thing is the lights aren’t pointy like we grew up with, so they are a little hard to pull out , but they are fun and the kids love them.

I remember my parents buying a Lite Brite for my sister and me when we were kids and I recall it being huge, there was a light bulb inside the box, and it plugged into the wall, and it was not very bright and the template designs that came with it at the time were quite basic.When I saw this kit with the detailed Disney designs - I had to give it a whirl. I bought it as a gift for the family to share.It is much smaller and more portable than the Lite Brite I had in the 80s (which is a good thing). It is also much brighter and has four different light modes.When I first finished building it (took about 30-45 minutes) I looked at the image on the back of the box and thought this does not look like the box. However, once I snapped the photo - it does look just like the image from the box - and from a short distance you can see the design better.Now that the Lion King one is finished, I think I need to buy another kit - not certain I want to take it apart now and build another with the same kit. SMH.

The media could not be loaded.  I had the HUGE Lite-Brite with the full-sized lightbulb when I was a kid. Remember how hot that used to get? Memories, lol! We used to LOVE playing with our Lite-Brite. I was thinking of those memories and looked on Amazon on a whim, in hopes to share those memories with my teen. I was so excited to see this Disney version, since we are a huge Disney family. This new version of the Lite-Brite did not disappoint! It was so fun to do together as a family. The pictures are super cool and the colors are beautiful! The lighting aspect doesn't appear that bold when you are in a bright space but take it in the dark and you will see how truly strong the lighting is, with four different light modes to choose from. It is also much more compact than the version we had as kids, which is a huge plus. The only comment I would make is that there are exactly enough pegs to complete a picture, not really any extras, so be careful not to lose any pegs. Also, I would suggest that if you are able, make copies of the Disney paper inserts, because once you poke the holes and complete a picture, you will not be able to redo that particular picture again. If you have copies, you will be able to enjoy doing the pictures again and again.

Granddaughter was so excited to make Mickey but gave up relatively quick. It is not easy to install the pegs and after 3 or 4 not lighting up (because they didn't go in all the way) she gave up

Bought for my 5 year old granddaughter and she loves it. I was worried that she would be too young for it but with a bit of help she got the hang of it. Some of the pegs were a bit harder to punch through then others but she figured it out. Nice product and works as described.

I bought this for a young family member and she seems to like it very much. My children had Lite Brite when they were young and it kept them happy and occupied. They didn't have the Disney version but given this child's age I thought it would be a hit.

Not exactly what I remembered as a kid. The difference in color pegs from blue to white is very hard to decipher unless you hold up to the light. The blue and white color dots on the paper are also difficult to see a difference in. The Disney pictures are great.

Dommage un petit retour dans mon enfance un peu gâcher. ce jeu fonctionne bien mis à part que la lumière avec les feuilles ne transperce pas donc on défini pas trop le dessin ni les couleurs ,quand on na fini le dessin il faut enlever les pions un par un . Sa prend beaucoup de temps pour un seul dessin. Les pions difficile à enfoncer jai al au doigt avant la fin du dessin. J’ai pas se souvenir la quand j’étais enfant et j’y passais des heures entières. Ma fille a 4 ans et je pense pas assez patiente pour ce jeu là . Vraiment dommage
