Nice toy for a young child
Well made, good fun. My 5yo got this for Christmas and he loves it, it is a regular fave. He even makes his own pictures now by just putting the colours where he wants them as a sort of rudimentary pixel art.I don’t think you really need the pully-out tool, my son can pull them out on his own, but tbf a younger or less dexterous child might need it.

Great toy for busy hands!
Amazing toy and keeps my little one busy for ages! Lots of bits but they can be stored inside the box which is perfect.

Fun for skill development
This is a fun little toy for developing hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, colour and pattern recognition. It's made out of plastic and relatively sturdy. Easy to do child can copy patterns on cards or create their own designs. The drill tool is more of a placer tool as it doesnt drill so much as you push it down to put the screws in place.2.5 year old has enjoyed playing with this with supervision and found it easy to do and it kept her occupied for a good 10mins before she wanted to play with something else. She has played with it multiple times so obviously finds it quite engaging.

Challenging, practical STEM toy for ages 3+...
A neat unisex toy for ages 3, this Rivet Pop Workshop from Learning Resources' Design & Drill range features a little hand powered rivet popper. It's quite challenging and great for developing motor skills and hand-eye co-ordination as children need to load the coloured rivets into the tool. With the set are 10 double-sided activity cards - these store inside the activity board after play as does the tool and the 40 brightly coloured rivets. It's good to find a STEM toy suitable for this very young age group. The description states this is suitable for ages up to 6. I think this would be about right - and I like that this well built toy should have such longevity. The activity boards feature pictures made up of different colours. Children can match the holes on the boards with the various coloured rivets - or they could insert rivets in contrasting shades to ring the changes. Along with the riveting tool there's also a tool to use to extract the rivets.I'd say don't be deterred if you introduce a 3 year old to this Rivet Pop Workshop and they don't get the hang of it right away. This is, as I said, challenging for the very young. They will pick it up with a little help. The colours, pictures and tools seem to draw them in - and they will be back for more.

Early STEM play.
This set includes...- a hand-powered rivet popper- 40 colourful rivets- a rivet remover tool- 10 double-sided activity cards (stored inside the activity board)Super early STEM play fun. Lots of fine motor control and hand/eye coordination as they manipulate the tools and rivets to make the pictures. They have the freedom to rivet how they like to complete the pictures or try to match appropriate colours. Decent quality overall. Used normally it will likely last to be passed on to another little one. Jolly good.

My 4 year old loves it!
First impressions of this were good, it came in a branded box and immediately got my 4 year olds attention. It didn’t require any setup or need any batteries which is always a bonus! The set comes with various picture cards they can match up the bolts to or you can use it without any for more creativity. The little tool that comes with it was easy for my daughter to use and she seemed to get a big sense of achievement from using it. She’s played with it a lot and it still looks like new so seems to be well made and good quality.Overall, I thought this was great; I love her playing with more educational style toys and working on her fine motor skills. From a mum’s perspective it’s also nice to have a toy that’s easy to tidy away and has a box that’s the correct size for it so it’s easy to store away.
